Warning: Don't buy pasties.
My husband bought a Ginsters chicken and bacon pasty from this store and almost immediately came down with food poisoning. He has been very ill now for over 48 hours. The GP told him a number of people had visited the surgery recently with the same symptoms and the same source of infection.
I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Tesco's Guildford by phone and also sent a message to them online, no response, hence now posting here to warn others.

All home essentials I need is here. Membership is worth it. Already saved hundreds of £££ with clubcard over couple of years. The place is just perfect! Never had an issue with them.

I recently visited Tesco Guildford to purchase various food products, and I must say the experience was extremely positive.
What impressed me the most was the excellent marketing strategy, with clearly displayed offers and a well-organised layout that made shopping easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the store's cleanliness was impeccable, reflecting great management and attention to customer satisfaction.
The value for money is also highly competitive, with a wide selection of products at great prices. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to shop in a well-organised, clean, and convenient environment.

The most racist and judgemental store I have ever visited. I have been shopping there since 1993. I would be complaining to the Tesco Head Office and to the Guildford MP Zoe who I work with on different projects.
I visited the store this afternoon with my son. My son paid for the groceries using self checkout but couldn?t get the receipt as the machine was low on paper. He gave me his shopping bag and left for his Hospital appointment. I stayed on to finish my shopping
The till staff Abu was flirting with the lady in front of me and when it was my turn he asked me about the groceries bought by my son. As we were unable to get the receipt I showed him the bank statement which had the details of our shopping. He called the supervisor trying to accuse me of shoplifting. The supervisor arrived and spoke very rudely to me- I am a Public Health Doctor and no amount of explanations made any difference to her. I called my son who had to answer the call during his hospital appointment and had to list every item in the shopping bag. After being humiliated by the 2 of them which left me with tears in my eyes she says if I had the receipt none of this would have happened- tell that to the machine. There was no apology. Abu the till staff laughed at me when he saw the distress I was under.
I have informed the previous Mayor of Guildford about this incident and would shortly be writing to MP Zoe Franklin.

Went for Hair Toner although hard to find although found in the end, plus purple hair shampoo and conditioner, simple shower gel for sensitive skin and oil for Hair. All came to £64.00 with Bunch flowers for my friends Birthday. Think this was expensive !!
