Everything went very smoothly, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was interested in trying contact lenses for the first time, and they offered me five pairs of daily lenses for free so I could try them out before deciding whether to switch from glasses. It was super helpful, and of course, it saved me quite a bit of money!

I recently purchased 2 pairs of Vivienne Westwood glasses & i was delighted when i received them & truly excited to wear them.With wearing the second pair of glasses, i was having difficulties with the frame & the nose pads which were always slipping down my nose & really finding them uncomfortable & annoying to wear.I visited my Guildford store Specsavers today 25th August 2025 & i was delightfully served by a truly engaging friendly happy assistant, named Sylvester Teresa, who was so professional & really took an understanding of my issues, with my second pair of glasses.I decided to change the frame to a pair of Elton John glasses called Captain Fantastic & i'm truly glad i made this choice & truly so happy with the glasses, which i will have in my possession in a couple of days.Thank you again to Sylvester Teresa who made this experience so enjoyable & truly a really relaxing execution.I really do hope Sylvester Teresa will get the recognition she deservedly deserves, with giving an exceptional customer service.Have a fabulouse rest of the day.

booked an appointment for ear wax removal at Specsavers in Guildford. I received a phone call to confirm the appointment, during which I was asked a couple of questions to ensure it was safe for me to proceed. I mentioned that I had my ears checked by a doctor, who recommended removing the ear wax before my hearing test. My ears felt slightly sore, and during my flight back to the UK, I experienced severe pain. I also suffer from tinnitus, and I conveyed this to the person on the phone. She said she would call me back later in the afternoon or the next day to confirm if I could go ahead with the appointment.
When nobody called, I assumed I could attend as planned. Upon arrival, I waited in the packed waiting room. I waited for 30 minutes, and after 40 minutes, I questioned one of the staff about the delay. He went to ask and returned to say that the audiologist had called my name twice, and I had missed my appointment. This was shocking! Even if I somehow missed them calling my name, my two children were with me, and they didn?t hear my name called either. I lost 45 minutes in the waiting room only to be told that my appointment was missed.

I've been using Specsavers for over a decade. They are efficient, professional, and their second pair free offer is brilliant as I need to have a spare pair because of my prescription.
I was thrilled to get an appointment within a few hours. My one suggestion would be that they waive the cost of the eye test when you spend over a certain amount.
