Strawberries and cherry tomatoes all mouldy and liquidised within 3 days of purchasing. Went in on Thursday, by Saturday afternoon I had to throw away 3 boxes of strawberries and 3 boxes of cherry tomatoes. Extremely disappointed as I was recommended this place as being on par with the high street farmers market. Considering they charge 3.75 per box of cherry tomatoes and similar amount for strawberries I wasted £20 on mouldy produce.

I love these kind of sell everything green grocers, but its quality stuff and fresh produce. They sell all sorts of fruit and veg, but plenty of other products too. Cakes, biscuits, cheeses, breads. Great place to just browse the goods. Only thing is they have great bread but it seems to be running out by the weekend :D but that's a minor quibble. Highly Recommended

Travelled many miles to visit this parade of shops mainly for the high scoring Butchers in this shopping area. So called into Peacocks and it was like stepping back in time. Fruit and Veg on sale in any quantity the customer wants and a diverse range of fresh items. You pick your own items as many or as little as you want plus a wonderful cheese selection mainly cut to your requirements. I went in just to browse and ended up with Goats Cheese plus fresh Garlic and on the vine tomatoes plus some other fresh produce. Really worth calling in to this fabulous little retailer that still offers old fashioned service with a great smile .Well worth supporting this type of business.

Would be five, if I hadn't discovered a punnet of cherries, that had been added into my shopping. Didn't want them, never touched any in shop, and wouldn't have wanted to pay for them!THE receipts they produce, are useless, as it does not state individual items.... And that's of they even give you one.Eggs 50p cheaper, same size, in other butchers, along aldershot Road.Deffo a bit pricey, but stuff better than supermarkets and g Town Market, but thats in keeping with the parade of shops' prices too.
