I have a friend who has several thousand pounds in his acct.,and Metro bank have frozen his Acct.sobhe can't make any payments,Or use his Debit card to make withdrawals.He reckons that they have financial problem's,so ....??

Not having the 8pm or at least one day in the week where they close late is annoying. Can never get to the bank when its open..

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I find it to be a great bank. Low business charges, coin machine open full days on the weekend which suits me great.I rarely have to queue, always in and out when depositing.When i originally set up my account they got me up and running there and then and even had a card for me before I walked out the door.I always find the staff here generally pleasant and quick although It has to be said that I have found the staff friendlier and chattier at some of the other metro bank branches. Still would recommend!

Unprofessional staff, Worst customer service a staff have no clue of products & services. Went for business account they done hard credit check for personal product without giving any brief explanation. If any one have had a bad experience launch your complaints to the financial ombudsman & the bank regional manager. Which i m doing. Avoid this bank branch.

Terrible service.only 2 tellers taking 20 mins to serve each customer.the queue is getting longer. The desk clerks only come to check if you need the counter. Added bonus only one person dealing with withdraws and he still serving the same guy for 20 mins now (which u get told once u get to the front and have to re queue). A few people walked out. For 10am its Simply ridiculous. Had to leave as my parking was expiring. Fix up.

Completly useless staff. Doesn't get any worse than Metro Bank for customer service. So usless they would be better of just closing the branch.

Extremely bad service. Customer satisfaction has no value to the bank. Highly unprofessional and careless attitude of the employees. Will never recommend this bank to anyone.

Àvoid, avoid, avoid,Would give them zero star's if I could, 5 months to transfer money to another savings provider & still not done,They get 5 stars for the excuses they make up, keep saying they've had no contact from the other bank, which is total rubbish

10am-5pm weekday opening, making it impossible if you need to visit during the week with a full time job.Not sure if Covid is still a valid excuse, although I have heard it only comes out after 5pm.

They advertise themselves as opening accounts theee and then on the spot. Two days Iâ??ve been mucked about by them.
