Waiting an hour for assistance. One woman behind the till who could help for simple transactions but everything else you were told to wait. When I finally got seen it was 10 minutes then I was done. The truly infuriating part was that there were employees sitting and chatting in the back staring at the queue of people and doing nothing.

The worst branch I?ve ever seen in my life. Staff couldn?t care less about their clients. They?re doing everything but their job!

From bad to worse, from worse to abysmal I am seriously thinking of leaving this place every visit just makes me angry, only ever 1 person serving with a queue out the door every transaction even quick simple deposit take half an hour, latest visit the woman seemed confused about cash had to ask for the receipt that was in her hand as she thought it was the wrong one took her 5 minutes to realize that was mine as it just printed but she closed all screens so couldn't confirm what an absolute joke prid yourself on customer service WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Every opportunity you coerce people to go online I would if I could .

If I could give 0 starts, I would. The staff is so uninterested to help, been told to wait for 60 minutes for 10 mins transaction. There?s only one staff in the whole bank that works on the desks, rest is sitting in reception watching outside. I have had an account with TSB and Barclays. Thought they were bad, seeing this? Never again. I won?t pass through the doors of Metro bank let alone creating an account. 1 star because can?t give 0.

Went there around 3pm to access safe box. It was quiet, literally had 1 person over us but we waited over 40minutes. God knows what's the waiting times like when it gets busy. Already thinking of leaving this branch.

This bank in Guildford has seriously declined in quality. What used to be decent service has become frustratingly inefficient. Getting to my safe deposit locker now takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes due to chronic understaffing. The few staff members present seem uninterested in helping customers. Really disappointing to see such a drop in standards - they need to get their act together before they start loosing customers .

The selling point of this bank was the flexible opening hours.
No more self service, incompetent unhelpful staff, and now only open 9-5 Mon-Fri. 8 people queued up this afternoon at 14:30 with one person at the counter and 3 other staff sat their desks watching. changing banks ASAP.

You now have to pay for non-sterling transaction fees in Europe. I used the debit card within europe for over half a decade due to no fees. Won't be using the card travels, has no value to me now.

I thought the whole point of Metro was that they are open when others are shut? When did hours change to 9 to 5 only monday to Friday??
