Went in to pick up some beers, £8 for a few cans of Stella... immediately walked out and as I did, got accused of shoplifting by staff. Told them to do one and that I was going to Tesco instead for cheaper booze. Avoid at all costs.

Just visited Subway, Bedford Rd, Guildford. Tuesday evening 11:45pm. Ordered a foot long Pizziola on Italian bread, asked for it toasted, can't have been in the machine more than 15 seconds because it was cold when I got it. Foot Long Subway Sandwich and 500ml Tango = £11.39! Are you having a laugh! Plus apparently the menu has been updated so when you ask for a particular sandwich the salad options are already preselected so in effect Subway has lost its USP as now all your paying for is a COLD sarnie at a ridiculous price. I have deleted my Subway App and I will not be returning for anymore.

The price is so high, a bottle of water, named Volvic 1.5L, selling 1.69 in this store, which only 0.98 in Waitrose.

Tried to enter on Tuesday at 4;45pm. Although 3 people at the till, the assistant informed me that the store was closing in "3 minutes" and refused entry. I only wanted milk which would have been within this time, but I was not allowed in!Rubbish attitude, and why close precisely at that time?

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. The server was happy to show me all the vegan options and was great to chat with! Fresh, delicious and still warm since being toasted. Lots of options to choose from and a selection of seating.

Best corner shop in Guildford! Amazingly varied stock at good prices, including hard-to-find items like Milka chocolate. Friendly staff too.
