Customer service?
I can?t put into words how bad my experience with the Guildford branch has been I have been a customer for 40 years and cannot believe the utter disregard for a loyal customer.
I wanted a loan went into the branch set an appointment the person I was dealing with went off sick nobody else can help
I had a phone call saying someone would be in touch nothing
Rang the Lloyds line worse than useless
How can they make money I have gone to M&S loan strait away

When i walked in the door i was greeted by the lovely lady who has been there for years. I think her name is Sarah. She is an incredible ambassador for lloyds who are very luvky to have her on their payroll.

The guy at the customer service counter could not have been more miserable if he tried! Not sure he really wanted to be there, might be better in a different role, but not a great customer experience.

Went into Lloyds to get lost card, and was met with a great deal of unfriendliness given that I didn't have any DI, because I have recently moved and my ID is currently with DVLA, also because of O2 I have no data as they're chasing me for a miserly £20 I haven't paid... I explained this to the lady working in the APPLE style Helpdesk, and that I didn't have the account number and I needed to pay my rent, as I had recently had to close another account because their Internet Banking was constantly offline.
The lady treated me like a criminal because I explained the situation and she said that it all HAD to be done online. She also couldn't find my account with all of my name details and signature on a slip on paper... that could easily have been left there for anyone to take. I took it...
But she said that everything has to be done digitally, I explained that I could t pay O2, even though I have money, because it had to come from a UK account and not a Revolut account. She insisted that digital was the way. I desperately need to get the LOST card back and put funds into the account to pay my rent. She said that she couldn't't help. I asked what I was supposed to do and her only answer was to go online. I know the account is active because I can see it on my Credit Score info.
So Lloyds, what must I do to pay my rent.... go sell my car? Go sell my body? Please tell me. Being from up North I understand that many small business only use cash because the banking fees are so HIGH...
Please tell me how I should pay my rent by 1 January without having to resort to extreme things... I need my car, I will never sell my body... but what is your solution for not being able to get a card in store?
Digital is NOT the way.... Ask America and look at what ELON MUSK is doing... she clearly wants to be replaced by a robot... but robots can NEVER do what humans can... ROBOTS cannot have compassion! And systems can never be ONLINE all of the time...
Very unprofessional... what a stupid agenda...
Disappointed! You used to be good LLOYDS... I opened my account at that branch in 2009....
But now you're just places to WAR OF THE WORLDS...
People Care, Earth Care, Fairshare... Lloyds.... look into Permaculture Principles for your policies... you'll make it a friendlier environment, not just a safe haven for the Bankers, Pharma, Corps, Farities and Politicians fleeing to Suisse to hide their BULLION,

I went to pick up my debit card, it was lost after a month and they had to ask me for another one for the third time. I wanted to withdraw money from my account and they refused to give me the amount I asked for, they offered me 300 pounds of MY MONEY. I live far from guildford and can't come often. Regrettable service and questionable customer service. They do not live up to the name they represent.

The service is confusing cause you never know how long you need to wait for someone to provide you the service?.even when there is no any customer here at the moment I still need to sit down and wait for an hour with no reason.

I took £1000 into the GUILDFORD branch to cash in. The woman on the till counted it and gave me a receipt for £1000. I later looked at my online banking and noticed only £900 had been paid in.When I went into the bank I was told by the same woman she counted it again at the end of the day and it was only £900! No attempt to contact me at all. What are receipts worth if the bank can change the amount after you have left?I?m waiting for a call from Rona Duckett as nobody in the GUILDFORD branch was willing to help me with this and after that I?ll be calling the Police.I?m furious as I have been stolen from and left feeling completely disrespected leaving the bank.
