Rude rude rude ! The lady at the till she asked me ?can?t you read? for a simple question I asked her when do I tap because the card machine was not showing any amount. I?m not asking for great customer service for me to buy a pair of shoes but why be rude. I see there are several similar reviews but none have been acknowledged which shows the upper management of JD sports doesn?t care as well. But people reading the reviews please don?t visit the guildford store at least.
15-20 minutes before going to JD I was in Pandora (attended by a lady named Adriana, and I must tell you the attitude was a 10 on 10) and for the JD till lady I wish I could give a minus for attitude. Somebody train them on basic manners please.
PS - I?m attaching the receipts from JD sports and Pandora so that anyone reading can verify the date and times and know that it?s a verified purchase and a genuine review

Excellent sporting goods store in the heart of the city. The staff isn't very polite and sometimes their responses aren't satisfactory. It's difficult to return due to the rudeness of the staff.

Really slow service and told to find a member of staff to see if they had the trainers I wanted even though I'd been queueing for 10 minutes already

Went to JD to pick up some birthday gifts for my boyfriend and all I have to say is one of the managers ,Olivia gave me the best customer service I have ever had in a retail store , kind, funny, knew what she was talking about?just brilliant! Safe to say definitely gonna come back and I know for a fact that my boyfriend will be very happy with his new shoes and his new crep protector spray(creep for my shoes) ;)

I was served by a wonderful lady named Joy, she greeted me when I wasn?t sure how to pick an outfit for an everyday use. She helped find what exactly I was looking for in terms of tracksuit to wear and she even suggested I should try it the item in the changing room. She was very kind and helpful, some traits that most retail workers lack and knowing that she was attentive to the needs I was looking for in terms of owning a high quality brand she even heavily suggested which was the under armour tracksuit. Above all that service I got from Joy made my day. Thank you so much!

On 3rd jan 2025,we went there for adidas shoe, but the shop lady staff closed the door on 5:32 pm in front of us and doing rude hand gesture from inside telling that shop is closed (we are asian) which was 9 to 6 pm on google, at the end we went to schuh and bought it, avoid this place never going back.

Staff were unbelievably rude.. in particular a guy with a dark beard who was serving us, was so rude, rolling his eyes. I was astonished at the blatant rudeness. Won?t be returning to that store. If people can?t handle busy periods then they shouldn?t be working in a customer faced industry.

Boxing Day sales can be hectic, but it?s disappointing to see staff members displaying such negative attitudes towards customers who are simply trying to be kind to them. It?s unfair to the polite individuals who do make an effort to see that they are having a bad day (understandably).
Swearing to each other across the store and bluntly being ignored by staff member trying to get a size check for a pair of trainers.
I have had some great experiences with Will and Sarah in the past, just a shame of what I have witnessed today from the staff on shift! Because of them, the store still gets 4 stars but not 5.

I went to collect the order I placed in online. Google says that the shop is closing at 6:00 pm. I went there at 5:50 All the staff were inside and locked the front door. They didn?t even bother to ask me what I wanted. The way they waved their hands at me was very rude. Forget about the customer service. Zero for treating a fellow human bad
