The least convenient Bank possible.'Full service branch' with no cashiers?!? should be called Zero service branch. Lots of other frustrated people waiting for ages and the few unfortunate employees were doing their best but looked totally fed up with the system too. By the time I was finally seen I decided to shut my account. Might as well close all your branches HSBC if they are like this. Useless.

Upon arriving at 1pm, a sizable crowd had already gathered. After speaking with the personnel, I learned that the majority of staff were on lunch at the same time? & appointments could not be scheduled, we would instead need to wait for up to 45 minutes. When we asked if we could schedule an appointment because there was no air conditioning and we had an 11-week-old infant, we were told no. To add insult to injury, when I went upstairs, there were two members of the counter personnel sitting with no customers???

On the 1st of January I phoned up HSBC Guildford and booked an appointment, on Monday I came in and spoke to James, his service was absolutely phenomenal, he made everything easy and was very, very efficient, had an answer for every question some of the best customer service I?ve ever received. Excellent work hats off to James.

Waited in the queue for 20 minutes to be told the cashier is shut on Saturdays so couldn't go ahead with transaction.

As our local branch has been closed in Woking, we use this branch when able. However, always busy (especially Sat mornings)-visited today and only one staff member at front & long queue. Thankfully there wasn't a queue for machine.

There was a queue when I last visited.Waiting time was around 15-20 mins. I had visited on Saturday, so they were trying to solve the queries at reception only, if not resolved then they assist you to go upstairs or inside.

Unhelpfull staff, awfull branch. Basicalky you waste hours waiting to find that anything you have to solve cannot be done at the moment so you will need a apointmemt.Even if you have apointmemt you will waste at least 30 minutes waiting.

This has to be the best branch I've ever been to. Customer service is literally the best I've seen so far compared to London branches. I did not catch the name of the lady but she was at the standing post on the left from the entrance and she was incredibly polite and helpful with my request.

It was an absolutely pathetic experience. I had travelled all the way from Shepperton because this is their only full service branch within the area.I visited them for the purpose of opening a new account and when I was told that I can do that online, I responded saying I am aware of that but there are certain documents which HSBC's website says can only be submitted in a branch and not online.I was then asked to furnish documents that are no where mentioned in the website and was also forced to go through the entire process online which in the first place was not possible and hence, I visited the branch.
