Shoddy MOT, they should be shut!!!! How can one of your sites detect faulty breakes 2 weeks apart from prev MOT where nothing has been noticed. And how can the tech of the 2nd MOT say that it depends of the MOT tester carrying out te MOT when is the same law and guidance for all the MOT testing sites overall England.

Luke was an absolute star! We ordered a bike to collect in store and despite receiving both a confimation email and call (from central centre, rather than store) the bike hadnt undertaken a safety inspection. This was obviously a communication error. However, Luke stopped what he was doing to get the bike ready for us to take away rather than make a repeat trip. He was professional throughout and gave first hand advice on the bikes capabilities. Cant comment on the bike itself yet, but the customer service in store was spot on!

Always helpful advice and friendly staff up for a chat. Bought a car battery..used them many time over the years, reasonable priced always reliable and even disposed of my old one for me.

Had a windscreen chip repair booked in, after one of the two gazebos were free i simply drove my car in showed the technician where the chips were he was honest and said only one needs repair, he did the job whilst I had a coffee in the Costa shop, very impressed with the service

Excellent service, it was busy (at least 4 of us wanting new wiper blades and several other customers after other parts) but the efficiency of choosing, paying and changing the wiper blades for all waiting was so quick. I didn't see any of the the staff stop for the 10 minutes I was in and out.

Abysmal service.I needed a brake light fixing so I used Halfords online tool to use my car reg to find the correct bulb and booked a time slot for my bulb to be replaced.I arrived at the time of my appointment and was told it was ?first come first served? even though I had booked a slot. Seems pointless to book time slots if you still have to wait in the queue at the shop.When it was my turn, the staff member said he couldn?t do it as the bumper would need to be removed to access the brake light. My boyfriend questioned this and then used YouTube himself and found out how to access the brake light WITHOUT needing to take the bumper off. He spent the next 10 minutes using YouTube to teach the staff member how to do this.The staff member then said the bulb I had ordered wasn?t in stock even though I?d had confirmation it was at time of booking.Once they found the bulb they said it was for a tail light and not a brake light. I corrected them by showing them the Halfords website which stated it was suitable for both in the description.In the end we left without the work getting done as the staff member had absolutely no idea what he was doing.**UPDATE 28/11/23**After completing a complaint online as advised, I was called by the manager of the Halfords I visited to discuss what went on. The manager, John was really friendly and I didn?t feel awkward explaining what had happened. He apologised for being made to wait in a queue when we had pre booked an appt. He also explained that with my car sometimes the bulbs they require are specific and Halfords don?t stock them- he asked me to come back to the store so he could personally look himself and help advise me on what my car needed.Unfortunately I do not live near his Halfords store so he looked up which store was closest to me and rang the manager of that store to inform them of my situation so they?d know what to help me with when I arrived.This was really great customer service from John and I really appreciate his efforts to ring the store that was closer to me ahead of my visit so I wouldn?t have to re explain myself.Thank you so much John! I also had a really positive experience when I visited the closer store to me so I?m very satisfied with the overall experience :)

It is what it is. A small branch of Halfords. I was in the store for about half an hour and didn't feel "seen". It wasn't busy but no attempts to ask if I needed any help. No attempts to interact with me. As a result the store lost out on a sale of a new battery and I just simply purchased a steering wheel lock.I'll get the battery from somewhere else.

Very easy to order online and staff were very quick to fit the light bulb when I arrived. I would recommend anyone to use Halfords if they need a new bulb.

I had a battery replaced by Peregrine who gave me some good tips on how to take care of it to make it last longer. Previously I had not a great experience with Halfords (neighbouring branch) so I was hesitant to use the service again. I am glad I decided to try it again, Peregrine did such a great job (kept high spirit in pouring rain!) and, he was level with me rather than treating me like I have no clue about anything. I was encouraged to sign up for premium membership as well.Great service, recommend!

Had new headlight bulbs fitted - Super helpful Peregrine went out of his way to source them from another store and pick them up on his way home. He even turned up early to fit them so that I could get to work on time. Great service - Thanks Peregrine, top man.
