I do not appreciate my family being hounded and talked down to over the telephone after we sold our house, twice in one day. We didn't use Foxtons as our agent! However they still felt the need to contact us as our house breifly went back on the market but sold again. Be very wary of getting your house valued by them as they keep.tabs on you if you go with another agent and can't wait to belittle and your choice of estate agent and selling price. My advice to Foxtons and Craig is to focus on your own clients instead of spying on us, we are not even your clients! So glad we went with Chantries and Pewleys.

Would like to give -5 stars if have this option.Never go to Foxtons, especially you want to rent a property, be very careful with these scammers.There have NO SERVICE after they got your money (I paid over 12 months upfront) no one will reply your email and they will push you to let others to view the property when your contract nearly end. They don't care about your situation at all, even you've told them you are busying on packing and work. Keep calling when you are in the meeting or at work. They just concern when other potential buyer can come and view! I've try to email their manager but no one will care at all. Maybe the agent are allow to be that rude.Foxtons is the best player to push the tenant to the corner!I've use the cleaning company which recommended by Foxtons before I move out (paid via MyFoxton), plus I've cleaned the property once before the cleaning company come. Hope can make sure to return a nice property to the landlord. Funny is the landlord want to deduct my deposit because of the Cleanliness issue. When I ask for help, Foxtons didn't care about that!I would say they would definitely provide GOOD SERVICE to who pay them commission. If you are a landlord, maybe you will get a better service.Now I own my property and I bought it through Cavender Guildford. I will NEVER GO TO FOXTONS in the future and already asked my friends do not be the next victim.Good luck if you are renting a property through Foxtons Guildford.

Tim Pacey and the team did a great job of letting my flat last year. They were quick with feedback, always helpful with queries and secured me a great price and tenancy length. I also use the Property Management team who have also been incredible. Thanks again Foxtons Guildford!

Have been dealing with Foxtons Guildford and one of their London branches for many years. Really impressed with Tim Pacey and his colleagues at looking after my properties. I felt like I'd struck gold after appointing Foxtons to sell a property in Guildford on my behalf from 300 miles away.After initial contact with 4 Estate Agents in the area, pre appointment I didn't anticipate Foxtons to be my first choice but wow was I wrong!Along came James Hughes who provided a first class whilst professional valuation with guidance and explanations that left me feeling best advised especially as a first time seller.Then Craig Brant took over and handled the process through to completion. Despite the many hurdles I faced he was with me every step of the way-going above and beyond what I expected and totally exceeding all expectations in delivering a first class professional and personal service. He ensured the process was moving along by being very proactive and involved, and kept me informed and involved. Always contactable and always got back to me. Craig's involvement from start to finish was, in my honest and true opinion, exemplary with an unwavering commitment. Foxtons, especially Craig: words alone cannot convey my gratitude to you. Experience as a potential house seller. Foxtons charge way more in fees compared to any other estate agent (2.5% final value, compared with 1% at this current time).They justify this by explaining they convince people who are either international or from a more expensive area, to pay over the odds for it! They use "hard sell" tactics to do this, they don't take no for an answer, even if you are using another agent, and have a good offer with them!I imagine anyone who falls for their blagging, will either realise quite soon that they are paying too much by comparing online very easily. Or they will convince the seller to lower the price because of market conditions etc, to what other agents value it as, then charge you the higher fee!Buyers beware! If you are paying the asking price from these guys, it is way higher than the market price! They openly admit they do this.Sellers, you are unlikely to get their estimate, and even if you do I can't imagine many buyers stay to completion when they can so easily compare.

My lodge had been up for sale for some time but when Ryan took it on board he not only found a suitable tenant but let me know what was happening at each stage. I was informed who the buyer was and what her plans were and also that he would deal with the office on my behalf which he did. My part was not at all stressful and it has now come to a satisfactory close. Thank you Ryan I am so pleased with the service which was given.

This agency managed to use my life situation as a means to offload a property in bad conditions.I found myself without any opportunity to physically inspect the property beforehand.To make matters worse, when I asked for more detailed information, their response was disappointing. They only provided a few old, tiny photos that didn?t really show what the property was like.Despite my persistent requests for a video tour, the agency exhibited a shocking level of indifference, as if the deal had already been sealed and there was no reason whatsoever to put in additional effort.It is more than disappointing that they believed their responsibilities were done as soon as the contract was signed, not caring about keeping customers satisfied.When I finally moved in, the property was filled with old, broken furniture and trash, showing how neglected it was. The kitchen was covered in old grease stains and the bathroom had mold. One of the rooms smelled strongly of smoke, indicating a lack of cleaning and upkeep in the past.The problems didn?t stop as I looked around the property: handles were broken or on the verge of breaking, the windows had gaps, and some couldn?t be opened. It is hard not to wonder why the agency didn?t bother to check and fix these obvious issues before I moved in.As if it wasn?t enough, a series of issues popped up one after another:- The toilet started leaking.- The house?s heating system didn?t work because it was broken.I complained with the agency and they sent some engineers, who came and provided a detailed report explaining the need of changing the whole system. Strangely, after that, everything just came to a standstill. It has been a month or two and nothing has been fixed yet.I have been really patient and I have considered that the agency might be busy. However, it has become extremely exhausting to keep sending emails, only to get a vague reply like ?we are tracking it?, without any real progress.Given the current situation with the broken heating system and windows, I can?t imagine how it will be to live in the apartment in winter. However, they don?t seem to care about it.

Had a very positive experience with Foxtons! Daniel was fantastic with taking on all our requirements, working around our tricky schedule, and consistently communicating through a long and difficult flat finding process. Through the process it felt like many agents were not interested in us as we were living in Scotland prior to moving, but Daniel constantly checked in and made us feel confident in a competitive market.

I wanted to share my experience with Foxtons and particularly with one of their agents, Craig Brant.As first time buyers, we met a lot of sales agents as we were browsing properties to view and place offers.What strike me with Craig from day 1, was his eagerness to support us and answer any questions we might had in a timely manner, as well as being truthfull to meet our needs and offer us alternatives where possible. It was the element of human factor in him, that made us see him as our trusted sales advisor and not strictly as someone trying to sell us a property at any cost.He was the only agent that provided his mobile number straight away which meant we could access him directly on the phone or through text messages or WhatsApp, without needing to call the office. He never evaded answering a call and even if he wasn't available, he would always make us aware and come back to us asap. He would always catch up on the messages/voicemails etc., even if that was late in the evening, which was always reassuring that he was ontop of our case.I would definitely recommend Foxtons and Craig in particular and will reach out to him again for any future move we decide to do.

I was buying and selling my house at the same time through Foxton Estate. The team at Foxton were fantastic throughout our purchase. We had an onerous conveyance process to go through to get to the exchange, and Craig Brant was really helpful and professional throughout, getting us through to completion. We will definitely want to work with them again in the future!
