Very poor service on a repair. Repaired item was handed back in an envelope, repair not shown to the customer. Not asked if it was satisfactory or not ! Shop staff should look for another job that dies not involve customer service or contact. Will not shop there again.

I visited the Barbour store in Guildford at about 11:30 this morning to buy a particular pair of men?s slippers. The shop wasn?t too busy. I found the exact item that I was looking for but they were too small. I took the display item to a young, female member of staff and asked her if they had them in my size. She went off to the store room and came back with a completely different pair of slippers. Different design, different altogether! Not the slippers that I had travelled to the shop for! She told me that these were the only slippers that they had in my size. When I told her that these were not what I wanted, she shrugged and said ?oh, okay sorry?. No offer to get them in for me, no offer to order them for me.
I walked out slipperless. When I got home I went on line and found them easily enough and cheaper too!
The manager of the Guildford branch must be doing so well that they can afford to let customers walk away without their staff making more effort to make a sale. It?s no wonder people are not going to the high street anymore. I?ve been shopping at Barbour for years (including this one) and never had such poor service.

Went to buy some boots, staff were very helpful in finding me the right size and recommending a different type of boot which worked better than I thought. Would gladly visit again ?

Had a wonderful experience shopping my 2nd only barbour jacket.
I had bought my original jacket from the Winsor shop. Later I needed extra winter padding.
The shop keeper even gave the active serviceman discount!
All in all good experience.

Lovely staff. I have bought a few things from here over the years and always had a good experience. Recently had to return a jacket and the assistant could not have been more helpful.

First time sending off a jacket for repair/rewaxing. The assistant was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the process clear and gave an estimate of the cost so I could make a well-informed decision. The whole process was a breeze!
