Such rude staff, I am currently working near by so have chosen to have my lunch break and grab some food, which greggs is always great but they really need to have better training for their staff, every time I come in the atmosphere is hostile to say the least, everything is always a problem with the ladies behind the till expecially Inna the supervisor, who after requesting a student cheese and onion bake refused to give me one as she said it wasn't in the deal after explaining it was in the T&C and that I had had it before in here she said I am wrong then got the manager Anna who was helpful but and got the situation resolved but wasn't the friendliest and no apology so good food terrible service

During my recent visits, I have consistently observed a lack of customer engagement from the staff. They are often preoccupied with their phones, either speaking to one another in a language other than English, or engaged in conversations on their phones behind the counter. On several occasions, staff members have been chatting in the back, leaving the counter unattended. This behavior results in a lack of welcoming smiles, friendly chitchat, and overall poor customer service.

People are mean the staff here are fine and they work really hard! There is always a massive queue to get through and they are doing the best they can!

So I had an interview there today and when I entered the store and asked about it they said that it was a mistake even though I had all the information to prove otherwise, I then proceed to check the information again just to ensure I had the correct store. I did. So I had to leave as there was nothing that I could do.It seems a bit ridiculous and highly unprofessional to get all the information correct, get to the store, then be told that there's no interview.

The staff are friendly enough and are polite. If you go to a Greggs, you know what you're going to get.
However, sometimes this can be below par at best and can taste awful.

Popped in here this morning cos I noticed it was open early. Already a Q though. I was served cappucino where cup only 3/4 filled...i didnt complain as i have obvious injury to mouth so asked for some cold milk to be added. I was pointed in the direction of an empty milk jug behind me. I went back to counter and was given a top up with hot water!!I felt an attitude as if staff didnt want to be there let alone give proper service

Firstly, this review is based on overall performance. I want to make it clear that when Rob is here the place runs far smoother.The girls however are just terrible, there's no sense of urgency with them and they are happy to take 20 years serving someone a coffee waiting for the final drips so it seems, then they take payment, slowly. I've seen them ignore a queue of people, I couldn't leave my colleagues if it was that busy myself. Also just a lack of friendly atmosphere with them, at least Rob smiles and says hello!Basically you need to clone a team of Robs, be the best Greggs in Godalming history then lol
