My mum in her 70s was knocked into really badly on her knee by a big dog. She was in massive pain and struggling to walk. Her GP provided pain killers but had no idea where we could get a walking frame from.
I turned up to Godalming Argos yesterday morning in a bit of a panic but the Argos rep could not have been more helpful. There were no frames in stock, but she thought that Farnham would get a delivery at 4pm that day. She called to check before ordering it for me.
I arrived at Farnham Argos and there it was waiting for me.
I had no idea that Argos even sold walking frames (until Google search) - so thank you!
But mainly thank you to the lovely rep, who went out of her way to help me at a really stressful time.

I am disappointed with Argos this time. As a regular customer, I often shop there and a couple of months ago, I bought two scooters, one for my daughter and one for my son. While my daughter's scooter is fine, my son's scooter's tires have worn out. I went to Argos early this morning before work to report the problem, but I didn't have the receipt since I paid by card and lost the physical receipt. It's difficult to keep receipts for a long time. They told me they couldn't do anything and that the manager would call me at 2:30 p.m. I waited all day, but no one called. After work, I returned to Argos to discuss the issue again, but they still couldn't help and I just took the scooter back. It seems that without a receipt, even if an item is under warranty, Argos won't assist you. I'm very unhappy with their service.

I don?t really use Argos that often, but I did use it once last year to order for my daughter?s mattress a sheet protector and it was quite easy to order online and collect it from Sainsbury?s. Nothing else I can really put in this review.

Refused to take back an air bed which I purchased thinking there was a pump included since it wasn't obvious on the page (without clicking into CUSTOMER questions - didn't know anyone read those), all the description says was that it inflates in 4 minutes with no mention of a pump not being included.Anyway, no matter what I said they wouldn't take it back so I learned my lesson and went straight to the Farnham Argos and got my other half to take it back (the manager of the Godalming store said all the managers have a Whatsapp group so I couldn't take it back anywhere else lol) and say it's broken / deflates. It's a shame that it's probably gone to landfill now rather than being resold thanks to poor customer service.

Had some issues with my order in that I was u able to collect due to health issue. Argos refused to post it for me so I extended the period a time to collect it.
That expired to so a refund was issued.
I had to re-order online and then had to attend the store in person to collect . Within a period of a few days the product went up by £10!

I had a rather complicated problem concerning an item I bought through another Argos store. I asked the Godalming Argos for help in resolving my problem and I must say I was so impressed by the helpful, courteous and very efficient manner in which my problem was addressed. What appeared to be a difficult situation was rapidly sorted by Jack, with support from his manager, and I would like to place on record my appreciation for such excellent customer service.

Excellent customer services from Ashley, he really was polite, friendly and dealt with my purchase quickly and efficiently. Having been to a few argos, other stores could learn from Ashley in regards to customer service, highly recommended

Godalming Argos have very little stock of most everday items. So don't rely on hoping to purchase what you need, because more than likly, this branch of Argo won't have it stock and won't be able to get your item at later date either
