What a gem this place is. Our first visit and we will definitely come back again. Good food at very reasonable prices. Service was good. The salads are very fresh. A wide selection of dishes which are good sized portions

We visit the Peacock lodge most weeks for lunch. Nice food and big menu with various dishes. The menu consists of a large selection of Indian dishes and pub favourites. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Good car parking areas.

The food was great and the portions were very generous. Seb was an excellent host and gave us lots of laughs! A great place to go for a relaxed time - no pressure to leave from staff.

We really enjoyed our Christmas lunch here. Both the Turkey and Lamb Shanks were delicious. Service was excellent. Will definitely return.

Phoned up to check whether they could fit us in and said no problem as it was a Friday night and could accommodate two of us. Arrived and service was excellent and very attentive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and quickly served. Lovely fish and chips and very big portion. No complaints. Will definitely be back.

Honestly, the meal was VERY poor. Two of us had a curry and neither was even reasonable. Then you add all the extras and we needed up with over £35 per head for a main course. I drank plain water but this was tap water and tasted of chemicals. The lavatories were ghastly and the men's smelled like a urinal. Honestly, there are SO MANY excellent places to eat in the area; this is extremely poor and we shall never return.

We had a family get together for some festive celebration. And it was an awesome experience coz of good party hall decor , yummy food and hospitality given by Mr David and his staff. Plenty of food choice in Buffett and everything was on time. Well done to all the staff there. Thanks will keep coming for more celebrations .
