Very lovely pub (more a restaurant really). A bit of a drive from the town center, but in a very nice, forestry area near Bourne Woods. The food was good, even though I thought it was a bit expensive. The conservatory and the terrace fantastic. The service was very good. Overall, very recommended.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a Sunday roast. The roast chicken is £20 and advertised as half a chicken but in reality it was more like a quarter and quite sad! The Yorkshire was massive but blackened burnt. Shame because the flavour of the potatoes and carrots was delicious, the portion should just match the price point.

I have visited this restaurant twice in the last two weeks it is truly one of the top pubs around the area. I stumbled across it by accident and I think this will be my new local. It's incredible and I can't wait to return.

Food lovely as are staff but service a little slow & it wasn't busy when we went in, although there were 8 adults & 7 children. Lovely play park for kid, out side seating, sliding roof & bi fold windows. Very clean, restaurant & bathrooms, plenty of parking.

Set in a charming little clearing in the forest, the Spotted Cow is a great little spot to come and sit in the garden on a beautiful summer day. Lots of lovely little tables and flowers surrounded by quiet forest where you can hear the birds chirping and forget about reality for a bit. The food was ok and the service was a bit slower than would have been desired, but overall a great little spot to while away an afternoon.
We had originally sat in the beautiful glassed in area but the acoustics in there made it difficult to hear at moments with a loud table of screaming children next to us. Outside was pleasant and lovely.

The starter and main arrived at the same time so we asked for the mains to be kept warm so we could have the starter. The sharing starter, the grilled vegetables we cold and limp which created a horrible texture and taste. When the mains arrived back they were also cold despite being told they were kept under a hot plate. It was difficult to get anyones attention to order. We were apologised to with the excuse the waitress is new but with the price of the food and drink the waitress should of been being supervised until able to serve independently. It was over £50 for starter and drinks which is alot of money unless being delivered to a high standard. Won't be returning.

Clearly have a wasps nest in or around the dinning room. We sat to have lunch, citronella candles were on everywhere, so it's an issue they are aware of. Our 9 year old was in tears being tormented, whilst eating, by wasps then our 5 year old was stung and very nearly a second time. Whilst we were sat to eat there was at least 20 wasps! We got half way through by the time he was stung and told them we'd be leaving it was not safe for us to continue sitting there. Whilst the server was apologetic we were presented with the full bill and a takeaway container.
We've eaten there a few times and have previously always had a nice experience. The food itself was delicious, it's just a shame we didn't get to eat it all. I sincerely hope the situation gets resolved. I'm very disappointed that the management have chosen to stay open rather than dealing with the problem.
We live on a Farm, we recently have had 2 wasp nests removed from close proximity to our home. We went out for lunch to get away from wasps. There were more in the 40 minutes we were in the pub than here at home, before they were removed. Have you had anyone out to check for nests?

We stopped by for a quick dinner and I was very pleasantly surprised. We had 4 pizzas, a few drinks, some beer, wine, and an amazing lemon tart to finish. The pizza was fantastic ? definitely 8/10, maybe even more! The Quattro Formaggi was the winner. Service and atmosphere were top-notch ? a solid 10/10. I?m looking forward to coming back again. ???
