Really disappointed. I had an eye test and paid £180 for my glasses, the service was good and the lady spent some time getting the glasses to fit my rather wonky nose. Unfortunately when I got home the glasses had some of the lens support sticking out.
Today I returned to Farnham Specsavers where I asked if the lens could be removed and refitted without the sticking out bit. I also said I don't want it cut off I would like it replaced. The lady who was very polite gave them to a man behind the counter who proceeded to try to cut off the protruding piece with some snips, I intervened explaining I cold have done that and I wanted the lens refitted correctly. He said that would take 25 mins which I accepted and left the shop.
When I returned he just handed me the glasses and moved onto the next customer. As I left the shop I did wonder why he hadn't asked me to try them or even said anything to me.
So I am now at home and the glasses don't fit at all. the nose pieces have been moved and they no longer line up with my eyes.
I am really annoyed as I don't have time to go back and this man's lack of customer care has ruined the reputation of this shop for me.
I have tried getting the glasses to fit myself but have inevitably made a hash of it. Can't find anywhere to contact Specsavers direct and they will inevitably tell me to take them back to the shop which I shouldn't have to do due to one incompetent member of their staff.

?????????? Exceptional Care for Our Son
Our son was recently seen by Optometrist B. Allen, and we couldn?t be more grateful for the experience. Dr. Allen was incredibly caring and attentive, making sure our son felt at ease every step of the way. Their detailed and thorough approach gave us great confidence, and the way they explained everything was both clear and reassuring. The communication was exceptional?warm, professional, and genuinely supportive. It?s rare to find someone with such experience who also brings such heart to their work. We highly recommend Dr. Allen to any parent looking for outstanding eye care.
