Prescription requested on the Monday, called on Friday as hadn't heard anything, down to last tablet. Called Rowlands, was told they only ordered it Friday and wouldn't arrive until Monday. I was told to call other pharmacy's to see if they had any in. After calling seven pharmacy's found one with stock, but Rowlands had cancelled the prescription rather than return it. So I had to call GP to get them to put it back on the system.
Spent two hours trying to fix the mistake of Rowlands. The item shouldve been ordered latest Tuesday. There was plenty of notice given, and I've been left stressing that I'm going to two days with no medication.
Basic lack of actions having a HUGE impact. A pharmacy is a key cog in the health service, but Rowlands Farnham are failing miserably.

Extremely poor service. They don?t seem to care how many people are waiting, whether they are elderly or in pain. A prescription for simple pain relief was sent by the doctor, but the pharmacy took nearly 15 days to provide it. Totally unacceptable and a waste of time. The management really needs to improve how they handle prescriptions and support patients in need.

Very disappointing service. I called in the morning to be told my prescription was ready so I asked if I come at lunchtime is that okay. When I arrive, it wasn't ready and the pharmacist was on lunch so it was a waste of time going. I called after I left as they said you may be waiting for an hour as its his lunch break. Even though I said I would arrive around 1pm. I called the pharmacist as I can pick them up after work and told him I was annoyed with the service in a nice way. For him to say. You can wait for hours sometimes, that's the way it is. I wont be going there again. The lovey girl on the counter was very helpful. The others you can just hear them talking about their personal life whilst you wait.

Worst pharmacy ever. They take nearly 2 weeks to prepare a prescription sent from your GP, part of it?s missing when you go to collect it, they blame the GP, the GP insist they have sent it so you go back again and then they say the medication is unavailable and they can?t order it, no apology for messing around. This has happened many times before. They take so long you are then left scrambling to find another pharmacy that can help urgently and then end up without medication that was ordered in good time. The fact that they are in Farnham hospital you would think would make them one of the better pharmacies in the area, but it?s a shambles.

Unbelievably rude. Messed up multiple orders and didn?t acknowledge any wrongdoing or apologise at all, I?ve seen them reduce people to tears right at the counter. I wish this wasn?t the main pharmacy of this area.

Considering their busy location, they always try their best to support the customers. I have worked in a pharmacy before so I understand that even though people think they are just standing at the back, there are baskets and baskets of prescriptions in front of them being done. With the new management and additional staff from Lloyds whom I have known for a long time, this pharmacy will get better. Have a happy Christmas.

So, we know this is an incredibly busy pharmacy, due to it being situated within Farnham Hospital/Centre For Health and taking a lot of the prescriptions from the GP practices in the building. The staff are always run off their feet.However... the business seems to be completely chaotic. I have a so-called "batch prescription" where I am supposed to phone the pharmacy around 10 days before needing the next lot of medication to request the next "draw-down". And the phone just rings... and rings.... and rings until it cuts off. Once every 10 to 20 attempts, someone might answer, but there is no other way of contacting them, other than by physically going to the shop, standing in the (usually very long) queue and requesting the "batch draw-down" face-to-face. Even if you call at 6:30 pm when the shop is usually deserted, nobody answers. Not worth the hassle.

I did write a good review 2 years ago but have tried to call them 25 times over last 2 days. Think they take the phones off the hook. Incredibly frustrating.
