I did write a good review 2 years ago but have tried to call them 25 times over last 2 days. Think they take the phones off the hook. Incredibly frustrating.

Just waited outside from 8:10am - doors closed. One of ladies from inside cane to the door to explain they can't open until the pharmacist arrives... fast forward to about 8:30, another lady comes to the door and puts a notice up saying the branch is temporarily closed due to lack of a pharmacist! Well done NHS

What an utter shambles of a business got there for 8am, after 20 mins a staff member tried to explain through closed doors that the pharmacist was running late again. Another 10 mins later a sign gets stuck to the door saying they couldn't find the pharmacist and were trying to find another. This isn't a sweet shop, its a serious business. Sadly I've regularly waited 30 mins for prescriptions. What a joke of a place

Literally the worst pharmacy! Got told that I couldn't buy an over the counter cream from them but then went on to get it at Sainsbury's? Their customer service is shocking, with exception to a lady with blondish hair who I have seen be snapped at by the pharmacist and others who work there, it's just wrong! Don't try and call them either... They never pick up the phone! It's the last time I go there.

If customer service was of paramount importance, as stated on a response to a negative review, the phone would be answered by someone ... anyone ... Why are phone calls ignored? And why are queues so long? Should you be operating in a hospital/GP setting if you can't meet basic customer needs?

Agree with many of these reviews. Been needing premature formula for my baby for over 6 months now and it's always so difficult to get the prescription...for one they so rarely answer the phone so I'm having to go out especially with my baby just to ask if they have it and often they don't so it's a massive fuss to go out for nothing resulting in running out of milk and having to have full term formula which upsets her insides. Yesterday was laughable i went in to collect the formula which id requested from the surgery 2 days before so gave enough time for them to order in only to be told id already collected it... (no i hadnt!) So i showed the email with myself and the surgery confirming theyd sent it electronically to Rowlands but they wernt having it and told me to go to the surgery so i did, they gave me a number which the pharamcy could look up... the pharamcy said this came up on the system as not found so i was like what you expect me to do? They said speak to surgery again haha! So off i trundle with the pushchair and little one again back and forth!! Till finally i got a printed prescription like the old days and gave it to them...how hard can it be??? The communication between this pharmacy and the surgery they work with is terrible. If they need to employ more staff to make work load more manageable they need to speak to their head office and get this sorted as customer experiance is not enjoyable. Thankfully the staff at the counter have been changed as for a while they were so rude and getting very annoyed with each other in front of customers.After needing this same prescription for my baby since she came home from hospital every 2 weeks it is a painful experiance to be a customer at Rowlands Pharmacy. I understand your overworked but it's not an excuse!I have just recieved a text saying my prescription is ready to collect however last time I got this I went to collect and was told its not here it was an old text you received... ? not able to get hold of them on the phone to ask if its there so guess the outing today will be the pharmacy again!!

So disappointed with this Pharamacy. Its always been a painful experience getting prescriptions from them and I don't claim to understand how dispensing works but customer service and queue management has reached an all time low. They claim wait times for walk ins are 30 minutes. When they have over eight people working at the time. Very poor customer service.

So disappointed with this Pharamacy. Its always been a painful experience getting prescriptions from them and I don't claim to understand how dispensing works but customer service and queue management has reached an all time low. They claim wait times for walk ins are 30 minutes - it took 20 to even reach the counter, when I was advised it would be a further 20 minute wait. So I waited but after 40 minutes asked what was happening only to eventually be told they only had one of my items so it had been put to one side...! At no point did anyone think to tell me. I then had to wait whilst they got the scripts back so I could go elsewhere. I asked for the complaints procedure and was told to Google head office details as she was too busy and about to close... she was reluctant to give me the managers name. I get that they are busy but I had just waited for an hour and a half for nothing and there is no customer care or communication, which would go a long way to manage people's expectations. I would avoid this pharmacy at all costs.

Never pick up the phone, zero care for patients and it?s always a pain collecting prescription from here, do yourself a favour and find a different pharmacy

First and last time I used this pharmacy. I waited over half an hour for medication that I was told was in stock. Staff seemed too busy chatting rather than dealing with customers with a little bit more speed and urgency. Place seems to only survive because of its location.

This pharmacy has been a godsend on occasions when my surgery is having one of its sporadic funny turns! I've found them to be ultra helpful even during the heights of Covid!

Taking advantage of the fact they are based at Farnham hospital and get lots of prescriptions sent through by the GPs located there. Zero customer care and service far below standards expected. Long queues with one front of house staff with pharmacists (I presume) pottering about in background ignoring the obvious failings in actually serving patients. Impossible to contact on phone, and after miraculously getting in touch with them to get positive confirmation of a prescription they stated I would be texted about but wasn't, when I arrived in person told it wasn't in. But it was! Turns out their text service simply doesn't work which they admit. Only after challenging this and them actually checking, turns out it was. This was after they had denied knowledge of a prescription being sent over from the GP surgery on site, which after checking with the GP had been sent much earlier in the day however they had not actioned it at all, requiring an additional visit. Just utterly hopeless, depressing, and a place I will avoid like the plague. It currently has 2.4 stars out of 5, and after every negative review, a canned response from the 'owners'. Simply put, if you are in need of pharmacist services, your odds of success here are low.
