Lovely nursery in the spring and summer months with lots of bedding plants, herbs, vegetables, evergreen shrubs, trees and more. Staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable, perfect for a budget conscious gardener. Doesn?t look like much from the outside, but you?ll be pleasantly surprised once inside. Sometimes the selection lacks in the winter months, which is understandable. Overall, a great independent nursery in the spring and summer months but not so much in winter with good prices.

Bought a butane cylinder refill as a spare a few months ago. Now no longer needed, would they take it back? Phoned them - "we need to ask the boss, but she's not here". Said they would call back but didn't. Drove there, asked the same question. "You need to ask the boss - she's here Tuesday". Did that. Answer - No, he(!) won't refund. Would they exchange for anything else? No. I had the receipt, and all the tags on the cylinder to show it's not been used.Can I buy a bottle of patio gas then? "No, we only do exchanges". Never got to speak to the "boss", who one day was a man and the next day a woman.You don't really know how good the customer service is until you have an issue like this. My wife and I have spent a lot of money here, but I think we'll be going elsewhere from now on.

A wide range of bedding plants, hanging baskets and shrubs, compost at half the cost. Very pleasant staff and large gravel car park.

A good selection of Christmas trees, all Nordmann Fir so non-drop and available in a range of heights. The guys here were extremely helpful and we walked out with the ideal tree five minutes after we walked in.

Looked a little run down at first but actually they had a lot of nice stuff there. Nobody answered the phone when I rang before going but once there, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking.

Excellent choice of plants , lovely hanging baskets and at very reasonable prices .Very helpful staff who even took my goods to the car and loaded them for me .The tea rooms do the best mozzarella, tomato & chilli panninni & lattes ?
