What's with the 3 packs per customer restriction on eggs? There are boxes of 15, 12 and 6, all have the same limit. So I can buy 3 boxes of 15 eggs totalling 45, but not 4 boxes of 6 eggs totalling 24!And cherry on top was the rude till operator who sneakly put aside the 4th box without even telling me!

Be very wary if using this Lidl in the center of Farnham!!!! You will receive Parkingeye fine of £45 even if you are under the max 90min parking limit and scan your receipt. My elderly mother received a fine this week, Parkingeye refused to accept the appeal even with the receipt as evidence. I will be taking this further as Parkingeye are the biggest scammers going - Bloody disgraceful! Needless to say Lidl have just lost a family of customers now.

I used to think this chain only did cheap rubbish and unwholesome fruit and vegetables. Though nowadays it seems like they've cleaned up there act and you can now get some decent produce and pretty reduced rates from them

I would like to say how good it was to find two female staff who actually care about their customers. I was struggling to find mulled wine and I asked both of them as they were working close together. They were so friendly, caring and efficient. They completely changed my day, from normal to being on a high, such was their positive attitude. I had to get their names as I wanted to share my experience. Thank you to Abigail and Jennie. A credit to Lidl.

Great value and some reliable staples such as butter, cheeses, vegetables and salads. Try it and see. Its not much like a traditional British supermarket, but well worth it.Lidl also have short term offers on all sorts of non - food items such as pans for cooking, roasting dishes, ornaments and loads of other special buys.Lidl in Farnham have had a refit and now have the smaller, lower profile trolleys which are much more practical for non-family shoppers. Yay!

It used to be a pleasure shopping here, but now it is onerous. When I attended, only the self-service tills were open.***I HAVE A DISABILITY WHICH MAKES DOING SOME THINGS DIFFICULT, NAMELY I WAS TRYING TO POSITION MY TROLLEY AND PEOPLE KEPT RUDELY PUSHING IT OUT OF THEIR WAY AND TO THE OPPOSITE OF WHERE I NEEDED IT TO BE. I was only trying to get it out of the way of where people were exiting the shop and some people were not being polite. I cannot help it if I often struggle to move things.***It doesn't seem as if the focus is on the customer. I do concede, however, that there are merits if a customer has only a basket. When one has a trolley which is filled with large and bulky items, it is extremly frustrating and time-consuming to use the self-service tills. The layout of this area is not practical. The aisle is too narrow for people to have their trolleys and it is more practical for people with baskets. One woman tried to get her trolley out of the way and we were both polite about it because we both realised that this was not an efficient way of doing things.Doing a large shop and being forced to use the self-service tills is neither practical nor prudent.1. A member of staff had to intervene on many instances. For example, when one wants to move a bag from the till (once one has scanned his or her purchases), the machine does not allow for this type of intervention and one has to ask a member of staff for assistance. One conclusion is that the system is not entirely fit for purpose as a member of staff often had to override the system to manually do things, such as enter the item number. This probably interrupts what he is doing.2. I do not think that it is a meaningful use of the staff member's day when he has to walk to the tills every single time that there is a fault. This particular member of staff was lovely and he assisted other people as well, who were also having issues.Right before I left, a staffed till had opened. I simply cannot continue to shop here if this option is not available. It used to be the ideal place to do a big shop but owing to my issues (which often make me struggle with things that most others find easier), it would be nice if one knows that at least one staffed till shall be available.

I'm about to get a fine for not realising you have to register your registration. £90. Harsh! Guess they have to make up for their low prices somehow.
