My daughter booked a week in advance for my birthday, arrived on time Saturday 29th March on my actual birthday, to be told table not ready and to wait outside the restaurant. We did, then went back in?. to be told to wait another 35 minutes!!!!! By then many more customers had also arrived to be told the same thing!!!! The doorway was so packed you couldn?t move. The two ladies in charge did not know what to do at all, looks like they made way for and chose priority walk ins instead!!!! There would be no possible way of even getting seated or served before closing time, it was utter chaos ?, thankfully walked across the road to Pizza Express who immediately made us feel welcome, they cleared a table in 5 minutes for us. So unfortunately we won?t ever go back to Bills in Farnham Surrey, Pizza Express made my birthday so special, even at such short notice!!!! I would give Bills 0 stars if I could, How unprofessional, and a loss of customer, and I?m sure we were not the only booked customers that gave up and left extremely disappointed!

Don't book this place if you have a birthday!! Booked a table of 6 weeks ago. Then contacted bills today to add me person Ona table of seven. Arrived, they said there was no table for 7 minutes. We were stood outside waiting for 35 minutes. Within this time other couples and families turned up and were told their booked table wasn't ready either. The whole thing was chaos and really ruined my mums birthday. Ended up at pizza express across the road where our custom was welcome and they squeezed us in. Avoid!

Such a shame I couldn?t send the food back as everything else about our experience was perfect and would have been 5 stars. Amazing customer service, really great atmosphere, beautiful table and such friendly staff.
Sadly, my Breakfast was absolutely stone cold on arrival and looked like it had been sat somewhere for a very very long time before being served. The tomato was cold and really unpleasant. The toast was cold too and so hard it couldn?t be cut with a knife and fork - it just shattered. The fried potatoes were really cold, I just had to leave them, couldn?t stomach them by the end. The baked beans were warm on arrival but had a skin on them as they weren?t hot as I would expect with beans as they usually hold heat so well. The bacon was okay, cold but definitely cooked. The eggs were warm (not hot but definitely warmer than most things on the plate) but weirdly they were the only thing on the plate not cooked properly, they were still ?snotty?.
I have diabetes and needed to eat some carbs pretty desperately, as I had taken my insulin in anticipation of food arriving by inside a 20ish minute window. It took a lot longer to arrive, so I was propping myself up with tea and sugar. Any other time I would have sent it back but I just couldn?t wait again or I would have been too low (blood sugar wise).
Would visit again but next time I would have to find a way to take my medication differently and return the food if it arrives cold as it was so unpleasant to eat.
The service by the way was excellent, some of the best we have received recently. And my Husband?s food was hot, so something bad had obviously happened with the breakfast plate.

Sadly we are unlikely to return. Despite good food, the very slow service and uncleanliness spoilt our visit. We were celebrating a birthday and having to chase for drinks etc was not relaxing. You pay a 12.5% service charge so staff aren?t incentivised, I think if Bills changed that it would be better for the customers. The manager that evening was unwelcoming and made us feel uncomfortable He focused on himself and smoking outside rather than the needs of customers. Having been to this Bills for many years we were surprised as it has always been of a certain standard and quite often the service is great.

Really decent. Nice staff. Really switched on about allergies. Good bustling atmosphere. Really busy so worth booking.

Always predictably good quality service and good.Although surprised that they were out of French and English mustard! I would have sent someone to Waitrose in the afternoon to buy a few jars!
A complimentary extra jug of sauce was great fully received

Very disappointed with bills this evening. Had to send 2 dishes back after the order not being listened to. Which meant me and my daughter had to eat separately. Won't eat there again

Disappointing visit this time. Quite busy when we arrived but service, initially, was good. However, as it quietened down and staff became less busy, they also became less attentive, resulting in long waits for desserts and to pay.

No cash accepted. Alienating people who cannot have a credit card, or are not part of the Farnham middle class. When I questioned the staff about this they showed no trace of care about this. Not getting my custom again.
