“I was three days into a ride along the North Downs Way and I had snapped two spokes on my rear wheel over the previous day or two. I was about 15 miles from Farnham so called Hoops who said they probably had the spokes but had no workshop time available. I pushed on hoping to at least buy some spokes and try to sort it out myself. I arrived at Spokes mid-afternoon and they remembered my call. The workshop guy came out to measure the spokes and then said he could fit it in there and then. It needed the spokes replacing, the wheel truing and the tubeless tyre refitting and resetting. He estimated 1-1.5 hours so I hung around the shop, chatted with Gary a while, watched the cycle race on the TV and around 45 minutes later it was done. So grateful to the Hoops team for accommodating me last minute and allowing me to finish the ride (4 days in total).”

Well done Lewis, when nobody could be bothered to do it he single-handedly took on the task to do the job whilst still serving others in the store.
Lewis is a credit to Halfords Farnham and true step above. When others had clearly let me down he rose up and did the work that nobody else could do, not all hero’s wear capes. Thank you Lewis, you made my daughters weekend and restored my faith in human kindness.”
