OMG! We're regulars here, and the service is always quite literally wonderful. Our waitress, Laura B was very helpful, as she checked on us regularly, bought out deserts out super quick, and was an all round gold star server. We'll 100% be returning - thanks Laura for the great experience

What a great welcome as we entered the restaurant the Manager was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Food was lovely and an all round good experience. 10 out of 10 ??

Poor quality food, new out meat and it was cold and stringy. Potatos cold and dry. One staff member female dark reddish brown hair the host i believe was Patronising in the way she spoke and quite frankly rude to customers about the long wait when asked for help as their was no one serving the roast for about 10/15 mintues.

Ok so setting the scene?Ewell Carvery, Mother?s Day 2025 & we arrived 20 mins late (we mixed up our booking time) and we also wanted to change our booking from 2 people to 3 people. After explaining how the process works because she has to, the hostess couldn?t have been more kind & helpful. She found us a table accommodating the extra person with no waiting time. She was really nice and joked with us to make us not feel so silly as we fully accepted it was 100% our own fault and she could have just said no as it was heaving with customers. Definitely a place to go back to not just for the food but the amazing customer service. Thank you.

My second visit to the Ewell branch. Food was again excellent, with generous portions. Service excellent, too. And tremendous value - two meals and two soft drinks for just shy of £28! Highly recommended. Went on a Friday lunchtime and turned up just before 12:00pm, as it fills up fast. So, get there early if you haven't booked.

Shame place was let down by poor quality food at breakfast service. Food under cooked potatoes hard and not edible. Mushrooms old dry and fit for the bin but cooked and served disgusting. Fried eggs cooked and hour ago and left to carry on cooking in oil under the lights these were dry and hard. Not a great experience.

We went on Mother's Day and as always the food and service were superb. Warm welcome from Donna at the desk, excellent service from Helena and even the chefs were cheery despite being very hot and busy. Excellent value for money and one of the few places not to bump up their prices and force you into multiple courses. Good salmon Wellington for our pescartarian.

Pretty good carvery with a lot of choice and fresh vegetables etc.
Nice range of puds too.
Good for coeliacs - the chef also swapped the serving spoons for fresh ones to minimise the risk of cross contamination which I really appreciated. Would have been good to have more gluten free pudding options and dairy-free custard, but still had more than most places.
Star of the evening though was our waitress, Laura B., who literally could not have been any more helpful - she was amazing! She was so friendly, very knowledgeable about allergens and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Laura!

"An Exceptional Experience at The Carvery"
I recently visited The Carvery and had such a wonderful experience that I just had to share it. I was dealing with a migraine during my visit, A special mention to Harriet, the waitress, who noticed I wasn't feeling well and thoughtfully brought me over some ice wrapped in tissue to help ease my discomfort.
Not only was Harriet incredibly attentive and caring, but she also showed such warmth and kindness towards my daughter, who can be quite shy in busy environments. Harriet?s patience and gentle approach made her feel at ease and added a personal touch to our visit.
The food was delicious, as always, but it's the exceptional service that really made the day. Thank you to Harriet and the team for making our visit so memorable. I?ll definitely be returning soon!"
