Although I live walking distance from St. Martin of Tours Church, Epsom, I have never stepped inside it. Nevertheless, I?m sure it?s beautiful inside the sanctuary.

Good Friday. The right day for a visit to this church whilst visiting my Aunt who lives here in Epsom. A quintet of Cellists played in the knave. The reading was of the last supper. Candles were lit in remembrance of close family members.Peaceful, especially with the sunshine adding light to the experience. A lot of people to pray for!

This is not a church. This establishment will not have child protection policies in place. It should be removed from the Google list of churches

This is the old parish church, pre-dating the town and nowhere near the town centre. However, the only mediaeval bit is the tower. The nave is early 19th Gothic, the chancel early 20th century ditto and they obviously ran out of money to rebuild it all. The result is rather weird. In October 2019 it was closed on weekdays for re-wiring, but at least they had the courtesy to put up explanatory notices. Good graveyard.
