I have just returned a pair of ski trousers in the store in Epsom and unfortunately I was treated with a horrendous lack f respect by the lady at the till. I made a purchase in the store in Wimbledon using my apple wallet. This method is commonly used across the globe and most people, especially these working in retail, are aware that when a receipt is printed, it does not show the last 4 digits of a credit card, but 4 last digits of an apple wallet device. However the lady who served me in Epsom did not have that knowledge and was accusing me of lack of honesty, very angrily explaining that I am not showing her the card I paid with. Then she performed a half an hour check with the store in Wimbledon to confirm my payment method. To the very end she did not apologise and still is sure that she is right. I left the shop feeling like a little girl who was lying and only by a stroke of luck I got my trousers returned. It was half an hour of unnecessary, unpleasant battle with a very rude member of staff over something what should have been a quick transaction.I believe the training should be given, not only regarding the payment methods, but also about the customer service.

3 members of staff chatting about personal stuff at the payment desk. Finished off what their conversation was and then manager looked at me finally ready to serve me. I know you?re not paid much but that is certainly not my fault! Also strong smell of piss. Do better

I was so impressed and thankful from the manager/ lady with coloured purple hair, she helped find the perfect hiking stick to climb Snowdonia. All her information was so helpful. How to use the stick, what grip, what height! I never knew there was so much in a stick!! I am sure it made my hike to the top more comfortable. Thank you.

Went to the shop today searching for a jacket . The staff member Kaye could not have done anymore to help me . She looked up what I needed , re searched through the rails for me and then she contacted another store to see if they could reserve the jacket and all with a smile on her face going above and beyond. Shame the older male colleague wasn?t as helpful

The store has a wide array of winter clothing in varied price ranges. The store manager Mr. Michael is very helpful and kind. I had an issue and he solved it within minutes. I will highly recommend this store.

Excellent customer service. Kaye was really helpful and sourced several wetsuits for us which we needed desperately and hadn't been able to find. Saved the day! Nothing was too much trouble. She called several stores and advised us on the sizes we needed. Really great experience. Will definitely buy from Mountain Warehouse again! Thanks.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. I called ahead for an item, was told they had loads in stock and it was on offer. I drove all the way there to pick up and item not in stock or available. Very rude member of staff who argued with me and didn't even apologize for giving me the wrong info. Really bad customer service.1

Dreadful service. We waited with other customers about 10 minutes in the boot area to be served. Two guys at the till stood there drinking water and chatting to each other. Two other customers in front of us gave up waiting, couldn't catch their eye despite standing there holding boot in my hand. We gave up and left the shop like the two people in front of us. Very poor. I won?t go here again thanks

Kaye went above and beyond to assist me in finding my tent that sadly she had just sold the last one. Luckily managed to locate one in another store after trying 3 other branches. You're a star thank you so much Kaye!!

So impressed with the customer service offered by Michal today at the Epsom branch. He went above and beyond to ensure that a warehouse error was immediately rectified. Just as customer care used to be. Well done - such a rare experience these days....
