M&S Cafe now downgraded to a M&S Coffee Shop brand. No more proper hot meals just cake and coffee and some breakfast rolls and sandwiches . Always loved have the eggs Benedict for breakfast . Newly refurbished looks nice but was informed menu ditched. They need to reverse this asap. 20 years coming here but afraid I walked out without buying anything. If I want coffee and cake there are better options in Epsom. Hopefully they will reverse this stupid decision. A lot of locals came here because of the hot meals. They could have reduced the items not just scrap it completely.

Why does the cafe advertise items not available?? Twice we have visited the cafe in Epsom M & S wanting to have the healthy breakfast ?Sunshine bowl?. It is a new item and highlighted on the menu board. Both times told ? haven?t got any?!!!

I show up absolutely starving on a Saturday at 10:30 am at the Cafe in Ashley Centre (Epsom). I look for breakfast. I ask them what is a Mexican burrito - they show me something from the fridge which they will warm up for me. I change my mind, wanting something a bit more fresh. I ask for an egg brioche with salmon. They inform me that they don?t have eggs. So nothing with egg from the breakfast menu will be available, which is over 50% of the entire breakfast section. I ask for a jacket potato, they inform me that it?s not available till 12. Feeling absolutely starving, I have to resort to ordering an avocado on toast! Is this what M&S is supposed to be like?!

The fitting room floor was very dusty and had an unpleasant smell, which made the experience uncomfortable. Additionally, at the billing counter, the staff member did not fold the pants or pack them properly, which felt unprofessional.
