not for the first time i have used clintons in epsom.the shop has some amazing products but having to buy something in there fills me with dread .i have never, ever been greeted with anything resembling a smile at the check out .half the time one till open whilst the other member of staff is doing goodness only knows but serving is the last thing on their minds .i went in there recently and it will have to be for something really important before i bother again .how it can take any one so long to to serve any one with just a card is beyond me .there is obviously no or very little training given in customer relations skills ..let's talk among ourselves whilst serving someone ..let's ignore and keep talking about what we did last night ...never give eye contact ...mumble where possible ...don't make anyone feel you appreciate their custom ...you name it, this lot can dish it out ..no one looks presentable ,the only look they can manage is one of total disinterest .such a shame ,a good shop ,i wont be at all surprised when is closes .....

Great selection of cards

Whilst known for quality cards at inflated prices, this branch has the most indifferent staff serving you - that?s of course if they can be bothered to should you happen to interrupt their conversations, with hardly a smile, a greeting, a please or a thank you - and god forbid if you ask a simple question. They really need to attend charm school.

Good quality items and variety, but can be more expensive.

Here's a rundown of my experience here - found the cards I wanted, went to the till. There was a man behind the till doing something (arranging stock I think) who seemed a bit annoyed I had interrupted his work by trying to purchase something. He scanned the cards in silence, handed them back, and said "£4.50". I paid with card, and he then said ""Receipt?". I said no thanks and then left.
