Yesterday they wanted to deceive us, we came to buy an iPad with 256 gigabytes of memory, and we wanted to check it before buying, but the seller tried in every way to refuse us, after 10 minutes of persuasion to do it, he still gave it to us for checking, and as it turned out, it was 64 gigabytes, the seller tried to deceive us, namely, not to let us check it, and said that you pay, and then you can do it yourself, I did not fall for this deception, and as it turned out, there is truth, we really were deceived, it's good that I came with my wife and checked it myself, we are very disappointed, we need compensation for such a pathetic attitude.

THERE IS A TWO DAY RETURN POLICY for items brought in store, but for some reason, a two week one for items brought online and returned to store?! When they said they could give me a refund on the item that I spent £220 on, they offered me ONLY £80!! I had only brought it 7 days ago!! wouldn't recommend

Have visited this store on many occasions with my 7 year old and generally was ok
However they have been practicing almost robotic service recently
Quite rude approach to customer service and they treat you with such arrogance if you are selling them your old dvds / games so much so that you feel cheap as I found out.
But thats not the only issue, after waiting for them for 15 minutes to inspect the dvds (of a popular 80/90s show about nothing ?) and my ID they offered only 10p per box set / series! ? if i had accepted I am sure they would have sold them for minimum £10 each series ?. Thats a huge margin!
Just another ponzi scheme and they are taking advantage because there is no competition surprisingly
Happily gave the dvds to charity!

Served by a young man called Dylan, such polite and helpful customer service.
Definitely coming back. Helped me with a query about a phone, explained it through whilst also making sure I understood what he was saying. Some other stores are condescending when they explain it to you as if you are stupid but not this store.

Ordered online and paid for the game. Travelled 42 min by bus. Came to the store and because they have not had the cover they didnt sell me the game cd. I asked them to send the game to Kingston store so, i can pick up. They refused to do that too. No client orientated flexibility whatsoever. So wasted 2 hours of my time for nothing. I do like cex but this could have been handled much much better.

Purchased a camera lens from this company online and it was shipped from this store. Needless to say it was the completely wrong lens to what was described, I had ordered a Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN lens for a Sony E mount camera and what arrived at my door? A 16mm Sigma F1.4 DC DN for a Canon EF-M mount! How is it possible that such a big company can make such a critical error?

Terrible experience with CEX Epsom, they pretended to test a graphics card only to leave it under the counter and us waiting in the shop for 30 minutes only to tell us it failed when we literally took it out of a gaming PC a few minutes before, tested it when we got home and guess what it still works perfectly.

???? THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUYING A PHONE HERE ????
Yesterday, I made the mistake of trusting CEX, thinking a ?big company? wouldn?t pull a fast one. Bought a secondhand iPhone 8 Plus for £185?the price for a 256GB model. Didn?t even check it on the spot because,silly me, I thought they might have honest business practices. After setting it up, and I even bought a screen protector on it spent me £10,then I glanced at the settings and,surprise surprise?,??it?s only 64GB??! And their receipt? Bold as brass, it says
?iPhone 8 Plus 256GB?.
This isn?t just a ?mix-up?
?it?s a ??textbook scam!??
Lucky for me, I caught it within an hour,Imagine realizing months later you?d paid for a diamond and got a pebble. Delightful,right? But it?s already 6 o?clock so, I all the way went back there from the bus stop and try to ask them what is actually going on?
???????sorry mate we are close now we?re gonna figure it out tomorrow.? ok!
So today,I had to haul myself all the way from Kingston back to their shop for a refund, losing two days day off,thanks to CEX?s idea of customer service.Cheers for that??,really.
And that screen protector? Consider it as my gift to CEX??a little parting souvenir,if you will.Feel free to slap on another £10 and sell it as an ?iPhone 8 Plus with premium screen protection?? Just remember to make it crystal clear it?s 64GB, not 256GB. We wouldn?t want any more innocent mistakes now, would we?

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this company, which has left me feeling completely let down. I brought in an iPhone, originally issued as a work phone but never used, for evaluation. I selected category B since I did not have the original box. To my surprise, I received a call informing me that the phone was being downgraded to category C, indicating ?poor condition.? This was absolutely shocking, as the phone was in excellent shape when I handed it over.
The representative on the call then made an unprofessional and dismissive remark, stating, ?Well, I?ve just got back from a 10-day holiday, so I don?t know what?s happened to it in that time.? This response was completely unacceptable, suggesting the possibility that the CEX Epsom team might have mishandled the device.
I expected a much higher level of service and integrity from this company, and this experience has seriously undermined my trust. I expect a swift resolution to this issue and for appropriate measures to be taken to ensure this does not happen to other customers.

Absolutely excellent customer service at the Epsom branch of CEX! I've bought phones, a watch and a laptop from them over recent years and today I needed particular products, including DVDs, which they helped me to locate. I wanted to give a special mention to Liam and the blonde, smiley lady (sorry I didn't catch your name!) for their friendly and positive attitude and their knowledge of the store and its products. Thank you again :)

Went to CEX Epsom yesterday to sell a no longer needed mobile phone, we were asked to leave it for 30min in order for them to test it, fine;
We returned 1hr 45min later to be told it hadn't been tested yet and could we come back later, we weren't happy to do that because our parking fee was due to expire and considering we'd left it with them for much longer than they'd asked for in the first place we weren't too happy, and told them so.
The assistant went to retrieve the phone, came back with it, and rudely said in front of other customers that it would have failed the test anyway because it wasn't charging. We knew this couldn't be the case, but just took the phone home and put it on charge, guess what? It already had 31% on it and went on to charge fully, no problem!
Rude, unhelpful staff member who couldn't care less.
An apology would be nice, but no way are we going there again!
