The services was terrible, the staff kept forgetting parts of our order and seemed to struggle understanding the most basic requests. The food was average price for London, however it was poor quality and took an incredibly long time. The portions were tiny and the food was over cooked or burnt. I will not be returning and would not recommend the Cricketers for anyone who wants food.

This is a country pub on the edge of Epsom. They have a good range of beers. The bar is split over several levels and there is a garden for the good weather. Fairly typical pub menu. Limited roadside parking.

3 of us visited the pub on the 26th August 2011. The atmosphere arriving was warm and friendly, and the staff were very helpful. We got drinks from the bar and were served immediately and sat down at our chosen table. The pub was clean, as were the toilets (mens), and were obviously recently refurbished. The staff were very attentive and we ordered our food. The food was well presented and came quickly, and was just as we had ordered. The staff came and checked on us that everything was ok, and we sat very comfortably. We stayed until 10pm and left having had a very pleasant night out. We would all definitely return and would recommend this pub and food.

The Cricketers is one of my favourite pubs in Epsom. It's located out of the hurly burly of the town centre with a lovely pond and green to admire if you're sitting outdoors. This pub seems to attract a slightly less boisterous clientele and the quieter atmosphere makes for a nice environment to chat to friends rather than having to shout over noise and/or loud music They do serve food. Good English pub grub with no surprises Also the green outside has to host a cricket match once a year in order to preserve its green status according to some ancient bye-law and that day is great fun for the local community
