Great walks, but parking is really expensive. There is a yearly membership which is worth looking at if you will be going regularly

One of my favourite places in the world. Restaurant food is delicious, the cafe is lovely to work in. The special entry botanical gardens are well kept and look beautiful in spring. Morning runs, evening strolls, family walks or skateboarding with friends - I?ve done it all here and have never had a truly bad experience. Parking is a bit costly, so I?ve opted for a membership (which allows access to botanical gardens too!). The main area near the obelisk pond is beautiful, from there you can go to the polo grounds, the totem pole, if you walk far enough you can get through to Virginia waters (another lovely place to visit, although far busier). Savill gardens is a safe, well-managed, family friendly park, with lots to offer. Around Christmas there is a light show and market, all year round there is an adventure play area for kids, and there a plenty of small cafes dotted around the park. The main pavilion offers a restaurant, cafe, shopping area and bathrooms (which are very fancy might I add). Definitely worth the visit!!

Always a good place for a walk, either on yr own or with family/ kids. Restaurant and cafe there and a place for the kids to play. Great place to see beautiful flowers in the valley gardens.

A fantastic day out, the splendour of the Saville Gardens, with its beautiful planting, and wheelchair friendly easy access, to the enormity and spectacular views and challenge of the Virginia Water circular walks. A superb cafe and restaurant and the best ever kids adventure playground. It's a great day out for the whole family, but not a cheap one...

1001 Rodadendrums - all individually named. Pleasant walk around water feature, very well tendered gardens and greenhouse. Best to pay in advance on-line which includes parking.

The cafeteria is very expensive for what they have to offer, bring your own and just a drink instead

Beautiful gardens.

So Cafe is great but tad high on price but it's nice building and loos. Thought the parking expensive at £12.40 for just over 3hrs just to walk around the park but guess they have to pay for maintaining the Royal estate rather than tax the polo ponies. Didn't visit Savill Gardens as Feb 2024 and we went years ago. Note garden is £15 per Adult and with 2 kids £45. Thought for working families it's a lot for one garden but guess gardeners salaries etc. The new wooden playground looks fun but again ouch£££ for kids and per visit. Really should be part of annual savill membership. Overall nice place but too pricey unless you live local?

Great fun!! Would be great to have a map, though. My kid keeps getting lost and separated.

The walks are beautiful at Savill Garden - you can go to Virginia Water, the polo fields and other parts of the Windsor Great Park. It?s a shame that dogs aren?t allowed in the visitor?s centre/cafes as this limits the social aspect of any visit. The customer service in the main restaurant also needs to be vastly improved in terms of waiting times and quality of food served.

I recently visited Saville Garden with my dog, expecting a peaceful and enjoyable walk. However, my experience was far from pleasant. The most distressing issue is the shared use of paths by pedestrians and cars, without any apparent safety measures like speed bumps, just pathetic signs. This actually led to a horrifying incident where a dog was hit by a speeding car, which is simply unacceptable. My wife and I have been frankly traumatised by it. I sincerely hope the dog recovers and driver faces the consequences.Additionally, the cafe's policy towards dogs is quite restrictive, allowing them only to pass through to the paid access area of the garden. This feels unwelcoming for dog owners. The overall atmosphere of the garden has shifted to a more commercial and unwelcoming vibe, which detracts from the natural beauty and peace one would expect.Lastly, the car park fees were exorbitantly high, adding to the overall disappointment.I strongly feel that these issues need to be addressed for a safer and more welcoming environment.

Great winter walk

Nice place but noisy due to massive building side at present. Sadly if your dog is part of your family, you are not welcome! Shop and car park over-priced for the service. Overall, can?t compete with National Trust places!!
