Incompetent customer service. With regard to getting contact lenses fitted, multiple calls - every conversation it's like the first. They don't seem to keep any record of customer conversations, so seem to be constantly confused. Also maybe a technical issue with their phones because they don't seem to be able to understand plain English, have to keep repeating myself to get understood. Been called twice to get lenses fitted despite having been done already! Vision Express was easier to deal with.

My visit to the Egham Specsavers store was fantastic. I decided to pop in because I was overdue an eye test and I saw that they had a £10 eye test offer on which was great!
I went on a Sunday and it was practically empty so it meant my service was really really quick. I had my diagnostics test done in about 5-10 minutes and then I waited probably five minutes total when I was there before getting my actual eye test.
Saad was a fantastic optician, he made me feel very comfortable in the room! We had a chat about how our day was going and how business is fairly slow for him that day, and then he explained to me in great detail about what all of the scans of my eyes meant and what to look out for in the future. He also showed me the difference between my current glasses and what he was suggesting, and I could see the difference in the prescriptions - it was really helpful because no optician has ever done that for me before. Felt like I actually knew what was going on for once!
I?ll definitely be returning to this store in the future And I would recommend anyone who?s in the area!

Wouldn?t recommend using this particular Specsavers. During our first visit the optician called my son a liar during his eye test, and during our second visit they cancelled our first appointment (of two) because we were ten mins late, I called ahead twice to let them know and wasn?t told that they?d cancel my appointment. We had a second appointment scheduled so stayed for that and they didn?t see us until 20 mins after the appointment time. The absolute irony. Won?t be returning to this branch.

Saad was amazing! I had trouble with my vision so I booked an eye test and he found out that I was showing signs of third nerve palsy. From this I went to A+E and was admitted for 2 weeks + and diagnosed with multiple sclerosis! After this he followed up with me and did a repeat eye test to make sure I had the correct prescription after treatment! Without his discovery I would have not found out for a long time. Eternally grateful ?

I was really impressed with Egham Specsavers. I had a fairly urgent requirement and they booked me in for an eye test within 15 minutes. Very thorough and all the staff were excellent. New glasses were £400 which I though was quite expensive but I?m probably out of touch!
