The "award winning pies" were very disappointing. The roasted vegetables were definitely from the day before and reheated before being served. The prawn and calmary starter was inedible. Overpriced food for the quality that you get.

I feel to rate a 1* experience would be unkind, but I cannot say many good things about this pub. I could not recommend it to anyone. It seems a general consensus around the area that this is not a popular place, especially as I live and work in the area.
