Asked if they could help me as i just needed the screwback off my watch as i had a new battery at home but couldnt get the back off, and offered to pay. The surly man behind the counter, wouldnt do that and responsed he would have to charge me £ 24.95 to change the battery, but i would never need another one ( ??!!). As far as im aware magic batteries that never die dont exist, so I politely refused. I then went to the poshest jewellers in Dorking, Scotts, who were very polite and charged me £ 7.50 to fit a new longlife battery.If Timpsons want to charge £ 24.95 to change a battery that costs very little and is a 3 minute job, what else do they overcharge for ? AVOID !

I am so grateful to the man who cut me a new motorcycle key last Friday. I was visiting the area for work and my key broke, leaving me stranded. He had to cut the key by eye as it was in two bits and got it spot on! Absolutely first class service and amazing skills. I would totally recommend using this shop. Thank you again.

I needed to have a bracelet on a watch re-sized and they did it quickly and at a reasonable price. I have always found them to offer a good service at a reasonable price

Terrible! Handed over 4 keys wanted 2 copies. You got confused so I got 3 copies. Of those 4 fitted one key, 2 were correct and SIX didn't fit any of my locks at all! And I paid £42 for the privilege.
