This is a delightful and charming local Marks and Spencer store, a small branch but just right for the rural market town of Dorking, located in St Martin's Walk right in the heart of Dorking with clothing a food hall and plenty of parking to the rear with a pay and display car park.

Friendly, helpful staff I swapped a jumper for a smaller size no problem. Clothes great quality. Also purchased some food Saturday and the young man on the till was very friendly and professional. He had a very rude customer served before myself and he handled it extremely well ,remained professional the whole time. A credit to the store.

Nothing wrong with local branch but this is worse than Aldi or Lidl or Londis type of footwear. Is absolutely dangerous for people to wear. This specific one is FOR KIDS PE.Those shoes wear out as any would but only to reveal that the bottom of those shoes is made out of FABRIC. They become extremely slippery and specifically on schools parquet floor or polished concrete become extremely dangerous. We discovered this just before end of the year but we will definitely go somewhere else next year and we will do all we can to stop locals from buying at M&S.The quality equal to "Wish" "Alibaba" or "Temu" sometimes china has better quality if you know where to go!

Small Marks and Spencers with a small selection compared to most others. We were looking for baby friendly food and they only had 2 baby food sachets in stock and they were c. 1.50 ea and the same are less than £1 anywhere else. I wish they would have more variety of baby food.Very friendly and helpful staff though, so that was nice.

Picked up some gammon steaks but found the use by date was yesterday! Handed them to a member of staff who didn't apologise. Very poor.

I don't often go in, but when I do I almost always find what I need in spite of it's small size. And the food hall isn't as expensive as I thought it would be.

The food is Amazing! And the children's clothing great quality. I would highly recommend Marks and Spencer Dorking.

Handy location, good food hall and good selection of clothing for the size of store - also handy for click and collect, very helpful staff.

I have always liked M and S since childhood. Sadly I mainly travel the distance to the M and S branch in Brooklands from my home in Leatherhead, rather than pick up the food and products I require at the M and S Dorking Branch which is much closer. The reason is that the products at M @ S Dorking are limited, whether they be food or clothing. Only today I paid to park at the Dorking M and S , got very little that I required, and then immediately drove in the opposite direction to the M and S at Brooklands where parking is free.I also note that the recent development of the Dorking Waitrose, which is in close proximity to the Dorking M@S has acquired many of its older M and S purchasers. The only use the Dorking M and S gives me now is that I can pick up products ordered on line , or return ordered products .Professor Diana M R Tribe
