I went in for fruit ans vegetables.
No vegetables and lacking in fruit.
Pick black grapes and cherries as limited choice got home black grapes mouldy none were savable, then opened the cherries Again mouldy and had to bin them all
What a waste.

Been to this store for the last year , as our local one is too small, however wont be using this store anymore, stock always empty or products aren't great/fresh fruit mouldy. I have purchase different items, got home and found them out of date. On more then one occasion, things like washing detergent. Products with expiry date the next date still full price, but should already be reduce. Won't be using this store anymore.

Slowest Lidl I?ve ever been to ?
Shoppers are slow ? staff are slow ?. infuriating place to pop into and grab a bottle of water or lunch? you end up queuing for 15 minutes whilst someone self scans their entire monthly shop whilst it takes the staff 10 minutes to get around to validating someone?s age..
Just go to Waitrose or M&S ?

Super quality of products especially fruits and vegetables. Good offer and good prices when you compare to waitrose or sainsbury.
Always friendly staff. Good offers free parking. Clean and tidy. Unfortunately you won't buy here outdoor plants, you have to drive to leatherhead or Chessington.

Always busy it can take a while to get out of there. Update feb 22. No better if anything much worse no staff on tills update july 2025 it has reached the lower end of what i will put up with from a store, Now shuts all checkouts and force funnels everyone thru self checkout ( so someone in lidls head office can installing our sheep control barriers was a great idea it wasnt) also for cash only after standing in a que for 20 mins this is clear charge avoidance by the store the end product of that is customers inconvinienced shopping left went to tescoes instead i wont be back maybe rather than bad reviews cont for it just close it its had its 7 years if lidls cant be bothered to staff it close it

Absolutely disgraceful experience at Lidl Dorking.
I?m appalled by the inhumane treatment my 3-year-old child received at this store. In an urgent situation, I politely asked a staff member named Ryan if my toddler could use the staff toilet?as there were no other facilities accessible and it was clearly an emergency.
Ryan coldly refused, showing zero empathy or basic human decency. We?re not talking about a casual request?this was a distressed child in real need. Denying a toddler access to a toilet in such a situation is shameful and utterly unacceptable.
If this is how Lidl Dorking treats families and children in need, I genuinely worry about their priorities. A bit of compassion and common sense could?ve avoided a traumatic and humiliating experience for a young child.
Do better, Lidl. Train your staff to recognise when policies need to give way to simple human kindness.

Bravo Dorking Lidl. It took a while, but installing the self-checkouts has made the shopping experience so less stressful. Shame it took so long but grateful nonetheless
