Jackson stops were the estate agent for a house I was buying in Dorking. I could not have asked more of them. They were a fantastic help dealing with the other party, and helped smooth over all of the bumps that inevitably arise when transacting property. The team at Jacksons are excellent. They were knowledgeable about the property market in the region, and provided helpful advice on the local market and pricing our property appropriately, they were able to successfully market our property through their network and attract a high number of viewers which led to 6 formal offers. During that time the property market changed significantly, and the advice provide by Tom during negotiation was instrumental in reaching a successful sale. They were responsive and relationship oriented all the way through to completion, ultimately resulting in a positive outcome.

After a disastrous attempt to sell in 2018/2020 when Brexit uncertainty, then Covid and a reprehensible purchaser all let us down, we were apprehensive of what might go wrong this time. Also a brief flirtation with the market in the autumn of 2022 was torpedoed by Truss/Kwarteng. So we have been very pleasantly surprised on this occasion in early 2023 to find Jackson Stops manage our sale so well. Two viewings, both before the house went on the open market, produced two acceptable offers (though one reduced his offer almost immediately and of course we went with the other). Throughout Darrell and Nicki in particular have been impressively professional and have kept us fully in the picture and where necessary have kept the pressure on at the other end to speed things up. Based on this experience, we would highly recommend them and we just hope the actual move goes as smoothly!

Selling our house through Jackson Stops in Dorking worked really well from start to finish. What really impressed us was how the whole team personally came to visit the house and were so knowledgable and helpful. We had a chain of five and as is often the case, bringing the whole chain together at the right time was a particular challenge. Darrel and Lucy were up to it though, and with the rest of the team at the agency, nothing was too much trouble and the journey from the initial marketing through to exchange was very smooth. We couldn't have made a better choice in choosing Jackson Stops and we are very grateful for their enthusiasm and support.
