Brought down by the terrible service at the restaurant. Sent the expensive steak back as it was as tough as old boots. Chose a burger instead and they tried to charge me for both. Breakfast was a disaster, cold food and cold snotty eggs. I took it back and noted it was all cold. They tried to charge me for that too. Disgraceful.

The rooms are ok although dated but comfortable
Drinks and food overpriced
Don't bother booking the breakfast at £22 not sure what the definition of hot is.

Booked for a large group to stay over several nights for a work event nearby. After reading some of the reviews I nearly cancelled the whole booking.
Pleased to report that all rooms were clean, no one in the group had any issues. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Robyn and I think Alexandra (night manager) were great.
Loads of parking and it?s free!
Group of 8+ ate in pub/restaurant both nights and ate everything.
Do not let a bad review from one person put you off. Yes the buildings dated, but it?s clean, comfy and the staff are helpful. What more do you need?!

Another premier inn standard. A little on the tired side. But you still get a great bed, and the rooms are always clean and tidy. The food next door was good although we caught them understaffed through illness and very busy they fitted us in, and we had a good meal.

Really friendly helpful staff, hotel a little run down but clean and comfy.

Helpful staff, powerful shower that's about all for good news.
Hotel is run down, outside is a mess, room had a pungent stench to it, long dark hairs on the towels.
Included breakfast in the pub next door was terrible, food cold, machine coffee not included, so sachet coffee only same as in your room and we all know how good that isn't!
Plus side was I didn't have to pay for it as I was on business.
Probably the worst premier inn I have stayed in

My room was poor. Water pressure for sink and shower wasn?t consistent and temperature went hot then cold. The bath wasn?t very clean in the corners which is sloppy. There no fruit salad for breakfast which all the other premier inns have had. The manager was careless and indifferent. Gave the typical I don?t care impression wasn?t impressed at all.

Easy to get to, loads of parking. No ac and rooms to get very hot. Even an extraction fan would help. Pub next door is very good food and value

Dirty rooms had to me moved out of first room .then second room hadn't even been cleaned third room was looking very tired won't be going back a shame ad it easy to get around the area from where it is

The reason for one star is that I couldn't even get a room. The phone number was busy then they just hang up on you. One phone number for the whole of England is bloody ridiculous.

The rooms are looking a bit more tired that previous visits. Things like mould on the bath seal and the extractor fan hardly functional.Certainly the worst premier inn breakfast we?ve ever had. ?Can you do a cappuccino?? Errrrrr no, the machines not turned on! I don?t mind paying, errrrrrr no, the machines not turned on.Toaster also broken.

We were given the key to our room, but it was not ready... bed unmade and bathroom still had dirty towels. Went back to reception, other people were there, all saying their rooms were not ready either. The room we ended up in was not clean enough and there was a shortage of towels. Couldn't wait to get out of there....the first and last time in a Premier Inn.
