It really isn?t a great experience. You have to call at 08:30 sharp for an appointment and if you?re lucky you?ll get an appointment with a paramedic, not necessarily a qualified doctor. The reception team stop at just short of being rude, but trying to get an answer is a challenge. I suspect that the practice is well and truly over-subscribed and in order to provide the best service possible for patients in their catchment they need to disown the patients that no longer live in the area of their responsibility. Those patients could move to a practice in their own area. Once you are in front of a doctor the service is good, but their appointment system just isn?t viable. I called at 08:30 sharp this morning and was immediately number 9 in the queue. I wasn?t given the opportunity to see a doctor, merely a paramedic who was not qualified to deal with my illness and dismissed it as viral and sent on my way. To my way of thinking, this has the propensity for being potentially dangerous. I have edited this review following a follow up appointment and I realise that the staff are doing their hardest but unfortunately had some sickness with the staff to contend with. I have been assured that I will have a home visit today

I recently was ill with a terrible cold, sore throat, mouth ulcers and a chesty cough that I could not get rid off. I needed an appointment with a doctor but could not get one. I managed to get an appointment with a lovely Paramedic Ellie Berry, who was so lovely, kind & helpful, she prescribed antibiotics & organised a chest X-ray. Thank God for Ellie, within a week I was back to normal health. Why don't they have more Paramedics in the clinics? If there was another Paramedic in the Cobham clinic it would relieve a lot of pressure on doctors and Ellie who was extremely busy and it would allow more patients to be seen quickly.

Trying to get an appt is challenging, a one minute race at 8am to log an email and a one minute race at 8.30am to try to call and if you leave it 'til 8.32am, you've missed your chance! BUT when you've mastered the system, Dr Jenny Rutledge was amazing with me. Kind, to the point, efficient and understanding. And followed up with texts. Cannot fault her. Just stay patient with grasping the booking system!

Excellent reply and GP listening to the patient concern . I was suffering from a very bad side effect ear pressure , pain in neck , hard swallowing, sweating , tired weak from my thyroid .7 month I am sick everyday affecting every min in my daily life and the old gp in surbiton where I was registered before guessing to diagnose me & sent me to a hearing test ?even though I asked them to check my thyroid they didn?t bother to do any scan .I moved to cobham registered with this clinc and saw the gp and explained to her the reason I?m asking for a scan she did and found that I have swelling thyroid and all the side effects are my daily struggling pain and symptoms in googling 5 min about my symptoms I diagnosed myself right but not my old GP clinic who studied 7 years and practiced more than 10 yearsIs this right for a mother to suffer all 7 month ear pain throat pressure itching struggling in swallowing and breathing ,hear loss due to drum sucked inn ? ??? They were good in giving me allergic medication that did nothing until I saw this surgery gp I?m so happy to be with this surgery and unhappy for the experience I had and the irresponsibility that some GP s run without feeling sorry .

What a terrible reception staff! One receptionist made fun of my problem on the phone, asking me what I would do if a cyst in my ovary exploded? And this is instead of just leaving a note for my GP asking him to provide me with my own ultrasound result. Since my problem is not very important to them (after the operation that I have already gone through), I just wanted to take my result and take it to another doctor, but unfortunately it is not possible to do that either! What kind of unprofessionalism I have no words for.

I asked for my doctor, Karim, to call me as he had asked after a blood test. He was there today but for some reason couldn?t call me!! I got the result from reception yesterday, 16 November say blood test all okay. Do the receptionists not put on your file they?ve given this information? I waited all day for a call, rang twice more saying that I hadn?t received a call explaining that I needed a prescription to be written for collection today as I would run out of my medication over the weekend. I received a text message from a Dr Gledhill to say my blood test was fine at 18.40. I rang immediately and of course, the surgery was closed so here I am without my medication over the weekend. Well done Cobham Health Centre. Angry and disappointed doesn?t quite cover how I?m feeling right now.

This place is a god send . Probably saved me from loosing my left leg . The staff are second to none . Friendly professional and do there jobs above and beyond every day .

An excellent GP practice that has always supported myself and my children through the years. Professional and friendly GPs, appointments always given straight away for my younger children.

Appalling. Both the administration and the doctors who are next to useless. One asked me to find a specialist for him to refer me to as he didn?t know any! Then we found out during an urgent visit that my son?s file was closed because he had not used the service for over a year and could not be reinstated because they were not taking new patients - ?! The basically bumped him off the books. It delayed my child?s diagnosis putting his life at immediate risk and causing significant repercussions. Reckless and unethical, and I am pretty sure against all rules. The worst of the bad, is all I can say.

Very responsive and understanding.Reception are sensitive and deserve to receive the courtesy they have extended to me every time I have visited, on behalf of myself or relatives.The Nursing team and Practitioners are also very very good.

We used to have to pay $75 for each and every visit to a GP in Australia so we feel very lucky indeed now to have Dr Hobbs as our family doctor and for the outstanding, ongoing care we receive from the Cobham Health Centre and staff.

Incredibly rude and arrogant reception staff and secretary. They shout on the phone. Work at Epsom hospital and unfortunately I have contact them about patients from time to time and every time the secretary in particular is very stuck up and hostile. I will be complaining because I am not a patient and they can't screw with my health care
