I ordered coffees to take away here this morning. I was asked if I wanted regular or large. I chose regular and when receiving my coffee it was the size of an espresso. When asked why it was so small I was told that's just the sizes they sell. £3.30 for an espresso sized latte. The lady didn't even offer to top up the latte as a gesture of goodwill and advise us to order a large next time. She just said she didn't make the rules as she just worked there. With 4 coffee shops along the parade, I definitely won't be buying from here again. As an update to this review. I have since bought coffees from surbeanton, Claremont Gardens NT, an independent coffee shop opposite Hampton court Palace, as well as a coffee from the new cafe on the Parade, opposite Parade and Albany. All of these places are independent coffee shops, and all regular lattes were served in a 12oz cup. The gentleman serving us at Claremont Gardens explained the 8oz cups are specifically for flat whites as they take less milk than a latte.

Always a great option for a quick and tasty meal. The kids love coming here and the pancakes are a big hit. Been coming here for years - no complaints

Lovely local cafe with delicious food and coffee! The staff are always so friendly! One of my favourite places for breakfast or brunch - the homemade scotch eggs and sausage rolls are definitely worth a try!

I have had many a coffee & cake & a few lunches at the P & A & have never been let down. Always good service, good food & drinks & today they included Bowie in their playlist, so have gone even further up in my estimations!!

Friendly, reasonable coffee, but has a very limited food offering and short opening hours. Would be great if there were more deli items.

We love P+A, the absolute stalwart of Claygate's food and drink scene. Great coffee, lovely staff and always an excellent selection of sweet and savoury treats

What a GEM! I've travelled to London for a short conference and was brought to this lovely Cafe. The staff was friendly and so welcoming. They recommended the scotch egg and chicken& ham Cornish pasty. Yum!I had a mocha while my friend (local) had an Americano.I reckon I would be a regular if I lived here.5 stars ??Totally recommend if you are passing through and need a break.

Used to come here years ago before it changed management. Glad I returned. It?s a great place - decorated in a modern but homely way, and now with a loo you don?t have to go outside to thank goodness. Food freshly made and a good choice of sandwiches, quiche, savouries and even chips. Homemade Rocky road is an artery bursting treat. Front staff are excellent - young, efficient and really friendly. So shout out to Joey, Will and Tegan - they?re lucky to have you. Really recommend this place to have lunch or coffee and relax.
