I couldn't be more disappointed. I booked this hotel months in advance but due to a death in the family, i have to cancel. Called the chertsey hotel directly multiple times, no one picks up. Called the customer service line to find no refunds. Pre-paid, lost money, rude customer service offering me no other option. Will never stay with Travelodge again.

Parking is not great, shared with pay and display for shoppers, room was ok, nothing spectacular, breakfast boxes were supplied which were not worth the money.

Okay, but no one at reception desk until I called the emergency number so there was a queue of people waiting. Check out is at 12 which is really good, prices are decent, but parking costs £12 for 24 hours, which I think should be free to paying customers.

The rooms are basic, just like most cheap hotels. There is one massive issue with this travelodge though - the ground floor absolutely stinks of weed. If the staff are not going to evict the guests who smoke it, then at least install a ground floor window so that it can remain open all day to air the ground floor out. The other floors are not too bad, but they have windows either end of the corridor that can stay open.Other than that, the rooms are clean, the beds are somewhat decent and there are plenty of shops nearby like Sainsburys, Aldi and a couple pubs for food too.

The room was as all travel lodges are, great price, basic room however, this includes the excessive dust in the headboards.

Won?t be returning to this Travelodge. Sparse parking spaces, front desk leaving a lot to be desired. Run out of keys which is difficult when a couple coming back to room at different times. Customer service wasn?t great. Only 2 disable parking spaces for the whole of the hotel. Fork out a bit more money and get a better hotel and location. Bed are rock solid. Door was left on the latch when we first went to the room. Requested a room change and they moved us.Food & drinks: Only vending machine. Allows food to be taken in.

Charged parking even for people staying at this travelodge. Room are fine but as usual not provided with drinking water bottle. Asked at reception if they can fill my reusable water bottle upon which they replied that they also buy water from store.

The staff on reception are like prison guards not helpful and ignorant only interested in playing on their phoneNearby activities: Really close to a nice town centre

I might have been unlucky. Check-in took a very long time (no queues, just the receptionist needed some support or training), I got a twin room (instead of double/king..business traveller) with the smelliest and unsightly bathroom (drainage smell). I was just so tired on arrival and couldn't be bothered to complain. Parking was good though.
