I?ve just take loads of items to the shop. One of the ladies in there was very rude , and seems to forget they are a charity dependent on donations. I took the rest of my items to the other charity shop in Guildford Street, where they could not have been nicer . Will only donate to this shop now moving forward.

Terrible way to treat a customer ( £10 bike ) . They made a mistake the shop shop should except the error and carry on , lady customer should make official complaint

Good afternoon
I would like to share a very unpleasant experience I had yesterday with my daughter.
We live in Chertsay and we visiting the shop very often and we buy lots of things from there as it?s good value and also gives back to the community and helps others .
Yesterday on our way home with my daughter we saw a bike outside with a price tag £10 my daughter was very exited when she saw the bike .
I had a good look at it and in the mean time another person said to me it?s a great bike for the price .
I went in I have asked for the bike , the person took the price tag and put it ture the till then I payed .
We left the store and walked home when the person form the shop run after us saying the bike has been charged on the wrong price , it?s actually £70 but they put the wrong price . I was so shocked I wasn?t able to react . They asked me to go back and pay the difference if not they will refund the money . I refused to pay the £70 so they have refunded the money .
The whole senerio was so humiliating speacily with my daughter at much site . I leave in this neighbourhood for over 5 year , you can?t just run after someone and yell that the price I payed it?s wrong and people stearin at me like I have done something wrong .
I understand this is a charity shop and the purpose to help others but still are boundaries and laws to protect costumers ?the consumer protection act part 2 actual price to consumers .
I understand we are humans and we all make mistakes but you can?t have a such an behaviour like this .

I?m rather surprised by the other reviews I regularly donate books to Barnardos & the ladies who volunteer there are LOVELY! Always say ?thank you? & always have a cheery smile! The special displays they do for Poppy Day etc are amazing too !

I donated some of my clothes today to this charity shop and was rather upset by the manner in which I was spoken to by the member of staff that took my donations from me . All I did was ask politely if I could keep the bag that I had brought with me. To which I was rather angrily told that I should have bagged it for them as it costs a fortune to supply bin bags for donations. Next time I have anything to donate I'll take it elsewhere thank you . By the way Thank you was all I expected to hear because manners cost nothing .

Excellent range of products. When I went into their shop today, I was overcharged. The staff can't count or use a till correctly.
