We came to this pub after seeing a local Christmas show we sat down for a meal and drinks it was absolutely fantastic lovely atmosphere. We had 2 children with us the staff member Glyn who looked after us could not do enough . Warm friendly prompt service lovely atmosphere and very nice hot warm food. Excellent presentation will definitely be back . Also nice to see a pub kept clean and tidy and staff that actually do care in this day and age .

Just had to talk about how great this spot is! I?m from the states and visit my parents here who live here every year. Ashley and Patrick who work here are very helpful and nice, and even gave us some dessert on the house after our food (: We always love coming here for lunch/dinner and a few drinks. Our favorite place in town!

Ashley was such a personality on the bar, lovely cocktails :) The decorations in the pub as well were absolutely gorgeous for the season.

A real pub atmosphere and not in your face. Had good quiet time there and felt at ease as no chavs to be seen. Oh, sorry the Bacon & Cheese Burger really is the best in town & I'm a Burger King ( No not the franchise)

Lovely food every course was spot on. Compliments to the chef! Attentive, polite and welcoming staff. Especially the bubbly bartender Ashley, great lad.

Had a great night 28th October......Halloween With DJ......coverage of the rugby final, great atmosphere, staff all in Fancy Dress to get into the spirit of Halloween. Really friendly staff and efficient service. Overall a really enjoyable night! Thank you.

Lived in Caterham for 7 years my first visit to the pub, very over stimulated in there, had rugby on, football on and a dj and disco with flashing lights.. I had standard lager good price only a fiver, wife had gin and tonic a single expensive. Didn't eat, couldn't hold a conversation too loud. It's okay

Shocking food !!! Ordered the pie with mash and peas, pastry tasted like it had been left over from the day before and reheated in the oven again. The contents was all dried out and neared a hammer to get into the thing. My son ordered the fish and chips and his fish looked like it had been out of water and sunbathing for a month !!! It was so dry the fish had coiled into the shape of a large onion ring. The pub is cozy and plenty of room to watch the football and drinks are fine, just really disappointed with the food I would have been embarrassed if I had of served that up at home.

Totally peed off, the nights are drawing in trying to read my newspaper, the lights were turned down at around 6pm on asking for them to be turned up. No GK policy, asking - why the reply being the same. I've had words with the area manager before and was told this should happen at 7.00pm; as a pensioner who spends good money in this establishment for 6 days per week is a sad enditement of GK policies!!!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed! The service was painfully slow ... I finished eating and my companion was still waiting for her order. The meal we wanted wasn't available (no more BBQ chickens left and we went early in the lunch hour); I couldn't even get my cappuccino as the coffee machine was broken... So all in all it was a disappointing experience and we wished we had gone elsewhere!

Was served by Ashley I only came in for a pint, but ended up having lunch as Ashley showed me the the lunchtime offer. He was Very friendly, sincere, and even did a check back. 100% will be back!!

Staff really nice and polite. Good banter also. Good family friendly/ sports/ entertainment pub definitely my favourite pub in this area
