If I could leave no stars I would. I've been coming to this store for 22 years and I'm sad to say it's in a sorry state. I don't think the fresh produce is as good or as fresh as it used to be, shame! I now go down to the valley and shop in Lidl and sometimes Aldi if I'm down that end. The fresh produce is better quality and the expiration dates are longer, especially for strawberries, compared to Tesco and on the whole cheaper. My weekly shop is at least £15 cheaper most weeks. I only shop in Tesco once a month to get items I can't get in the other two stores. It's ironic because I never used to consider shopping in Aldi or Lidl because I didn't like the till systems they used, even though Tesco was more expensive. Now Tesco has taken it to another level, long queues for a manned till or scan and pack your shopping yourself. That's okay for a basket but not for a trolley full of shopping. It takes ages, and by the time I've finished packing my ice cream and ice lollies are already melting. I know a lot of the staff in Tesco and they are lovely, especially the ladies on the tills, but you hardly see them anymore. Shame!! The staff know it's going to the wall as well.

Go anywhere but here? fruit and veg rancid, pasta with weevils, staff incompetent and nightmare tills! Time to sack the manager.

No idea who the manager is because you never see them and they clearly don?t manage. This shop use to be decent now it?s a disaster. Two staff on tills today, queues like it?s a festival. Fruit, veg, meat all poor quality and often expiring the next day. The logic behind stocking the scented candles/bubble bath shelves on Friday when the meat and veg aisles look like they?ve been looted. Brilliant strategy. Abandoned trolley and walked out.

The ATM outside wasn?t working. I went inside and asked for cash, but they told me they no longer give out cash. It?s terrible. I had to wait 10 minutes just to use a machine to pay in cash. There was also a line at customer service. I don?t understand what they?re trying to do.

Have just left the store & what awful customer service. No cashier smiled the atmosphere is so gloomy & my cashier couldn't even pass me the receipt just pointed to it. Not pleasant at all so much so I'm writing this whilst sitting outside as I can't believe it. The man on the kiosk is so pleasant & helpful my my older lady cashier wasn't. Such a shame as used to besuch a pleasant experience

Popped in Tuesday afternoon to grab a few essentials, good quality food. Had a really helpful cashier Teresa, we only had a number for our club card, and Teresa dealt with us with such patience, very friendly. Great member of your team!
Thank you

Very friendly staff ?

This store has always been good in the past but now moved almost entirely to self service tills. Today it took me ages to get through the tills as a result. Not enough staff to help!!

A wonderful store. It sells all sorts of fantastic produce. The staff are friendly and efficient. Not such a fan of the replacement of staff for trolley-based self-checkout. But still it's a wonderful shop that I go to many times a week.

This store is well-known for its friendly staff and excellent customer service, which creates a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. I have been shopping here for years, and I appreciate the fresh vegetables, bakery, and everything else they offer.

Wednesday 16th April. Only 2 out of 5 tills with cashiers open. People with trolleys queuing more than halfway down the ailes. Took about 25 minutes to checkout. Absolute disgrace. Far too many self service checkouts. Sort it out tescos or we're off to Morrisons.

Shocking Staff, worst Tesco ever, especially evenings but customer service is the worst

Removed normal tills to replace with self service. I initially rejected the opportunity to use self service but young lady said she wld help. Worse experience which i will never repeat. If no normal tills are available i will happily abandon my trolley and go elsewhere rather than become an unpaid worker for tescos on tills that repeatedly need assistance and cause me to shuffle backwards and forwards up and down to get my shopping through. Shame on u tescos i am a regular shopper with you however if this is the way forward u can keep it, i have choices to shop elsewhere i dont need to have a tesco credit card or be loyal to you when u dont serve my requirements. Shove self service where the sun doesn't shine.

I have been shopping here for years, not sure I will continue.
Not a single till with a cashier on a Saturday morning.
The 'self sevice' available is not user friendly. How can you scan and pack without causing a ever growing queue. Customers do not know where the sensors on the conveyor belt are. Every couple of items a member of staff had to come over and sign in.
Feel sorry for the employees who no doubt had to face some very frustrated customers.
Perhaps Tescos is going the same way as the banks. Keep cashiers to a minimum, discourage customers from going to branches, claim customers no longer use branches and then close them and move shopping online.

I like your 'spend less with us' advertising. Yesterday I did spend less with you as only two checkouts were open, both with 3 to 4 trolleys in the queue, so I left my shopping and went to morrisons.
No shortage of staff observed, just an obvious tactic to push us towards self service. Doesn't work for me, I will always walk out the door without my shopping.
