My eye test lasted about 2/3 minutes optician never even tried different lenses didn?t look in my eyes when asked about my previous appointment he replied with I don?t have any paper work for that and his computer wasn?t even on I am going to be going else where from now on and I will be asking for a second opinion

The optician hardly looked at my eyes, the visit with him only lasted approx. 5 minutes therefore I am worried now because I have no idea if my eyes are ok. It was the most appalling experience I have had. I will never visit Boots Optician again.

I have been a customer for years and cannot fault the optometrists. However customer service is pretty appalling. You cannot get through on the phone, voicemails are not followed up and when you do get through, your told they will call back and don't. I have actually been in there when an assistant was checking voicemails and just deleting them. I've been trying to book a lens check online and although appointments are showing as available their system states they cannot book and no luck on the phone. Such a shame as it was once a pleasant experience. Should have gone to specsavers!

I bought 3 pairs of glasses. After 10 days the reading glasses broke. It is shocking. Avoid Boots opticians.

We have experienced some difficulty previously with being able to contact the store and it had been closed a couple of times (a while back) on a Saturday. We went today for an eye test and everything went smoothly. Sam was really helpful in helping my husband & I choose some new glasses and we received good service during our visit this morning from all the staff. It all seems to be much more organised now.

I am overly frustrated about Boots Optician Caterham and I would request everyone think before you book them. They are the most unprofessionals in UK. I am waiting for my daughters contact lenses check and order for last 6 months!!! They cancelled once without even notifying me, in two occasions we went there and the lenses were not ordered, the cancelled appointment 3 times. We take off from work, kids are brought from school without finishing their classes and they are providing this sort of customer care. I have complained to main boots customer care but no luck.If there were something below 1 star, I would have provided that for them. They should close their shop and stop people harassment.There are so many bad reviews but I don?t think they are sorting out themselves! Stop harassing people!

I don't understand the poor reviews,I have been with this opticians for many years,I always recieve great service from the optometrists,great front desk service.I will continue to have my appointments here,along with my children.
