It is what it is. Cheap local accommodation.
Noisy pub adjacent and an equally noisy motorway.
But, it's comfortable, clean and near shops and restaurants.

OK for a travelodge but unlike it used to be the breakfast is an on the go one not in the Toby next to here which you have to pay for.

The rooms unfortunately are quite outdated and in need of a good face lift, beds are comfy, the rooms do not feel too secure as they are using a regular key for entry and there is no physical latch on the inside which leaves you without that extra peace of mind.
Access to the hotel after 10pm is via a buzzer (or a phone number if there is no answer) which is painfully slow sometimes as night staff are elsewhere in the hotel dealing with other stuff - they really should install systems like most hotels have where you can scan your key fob to enter the building (the internal door to the hallway has this scanner so I do not see any reason why the external door can't) this extended wait to enter the building at night I can also see as being unsettling for some as this building is situated directly in the shade of Toby Carvery and the lighting at night is very poor.
The hotel is situated quite a walk away from the nearest amenities.
Even though it can be hard to get ahold of somebody at reception (due to low staffing), the service provided by all staff in the hotel is top-notch, all staff are friendly and attentive.
Overall this Travelodge is alright as a place to rest your head, the price per night is reasonable.

Had to move rooms at 11:15pm as noticed our room was infested with fleas. Nasty.

Absolutely terrible customer service the manager tried to tell me mould and ants crawling everywhere was normal and because of the summer. Disgusting behaviour for a professional business

Classic travelodge, this hotel has the newer face-lift rooms. Clean, tidy, staff polite. Fan provided as its warm and the windows on my room opened. No lift, stairs only to the 1st floor.

Nice travelodge, plenty of parking, and very quiet. Right next to a Toby carvery aswell for a few pints and meal.

This place was awful it's only redeeming feature was the lady on reception on arrival.
We booked an accessible room but this room is not accessible it was on the flat bed was very low it had too beds stuck together my poor husband did not sleep as bed was awful. Bathroom had a shower over the top of the bath and rails down the sides, loud extractor and dripping tap constantly going. could not ger in the bath ! Not that I'd want too rusty rails dirty bath matt (mouldy) and hairs in it! Bedding had holes in it. AVOID if your disabled it's like they have not upgraded this since 1959

Although the rooms were clean and tidy staff were reasonably nice.
There are notable things that really were not very good at all for the price.
As a Travelodge, you would need a cup of tea or a cup of coffee when you get to your room. We filled our kettle up and had a cup of tea. The tast was horrible and made two of us unwell. This was on day two of our four day stay so we bought bottled water. On day three I asked to use an iron and couldn't use it as it had burnt on marks so was unable to use as it would ruined my garment. I then asked the reception, if there was any bottled water that we could have in our rooms, they said that they didn't have any. And that they always go by water for themselves as the water isn't drinking water. Not good ? this should really be told when booking as myself and the other colleague would never have had water from the tap. It is a fundamental thing when you're
Booking a hotel room that you were able to get a drink. DO NOT DRINK water here out of tap - not drinking water!

Lovely peaceful and clean Travelodge. Staff our polite and welcoming. Next to a lovely Toby Carvery. Great to escape from the London city life.

Went for a cheeky night away. Room was uncomfortable, bed was hard, funky smell from the by the window. Wasn't offer a room swop or refund.

We had a deeply disappointing experience at this hotel. Items were taken from our room, and when we reported this to the staff, we were told we?d have to wait until the morning to speak with a supervisor. Our concerns were completely dismissed.
The missing items were in a bag that was clearly not rubbish. When we asked the staff who had cleaned our room, we were told that no one had?but strangely, our trash had been taken, clean towels were left, and our brand-new belongings had disappeared.
To make matters worse, we later realized that the room doors do not lock properly, raising serious security concerns. On top of that, we discovered that the hotel has no security cameras, making it impossible to track what happened.
Ultimately, we had to involve the police, yet the hotel staff seemed unconcerned. The items went missing on our last night, raising questions about whether they were taken in the hope that we wouldn?t notice or have time to recover them before leaving.
After waiting an hour without any response from staff, one of our group searched around the hotel and, incredibly, found our belongings inside a black trash bag in a random location?just as we had left them.
This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and distrustful of the hotel. Based on our stay, we would not recommend this location.

Friendly staff at hotel. There?s a Toby Carvery in the same grounds where breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Free parking with a good number of spaces.
