Purchased an item online due to it saying I was able to collect next business day, I went ahead because I needed it first thing next morning.
Order confirmation came through to say the item was now being shipped to the store from the warehouse and I would be informed when it arrived. No hint when it would be available the next day.
I called their number to try cancel the order but was in a queue for 15 minutes. When phone was finally answered I was then told that the order had literally just gone through to the warehouse and nothing could be done (despite the delay in answering the phone was the cause of this). I now have to wait for it to be delivered and then sent back for me to get my refund in (maybe) a few days. Complete waste of my time.
Flawed poor processes , misleading information and no flexibility.
Very disappointing experience on several levels.
EDIT: Contacted by Toolstation asking me to contact them directly to sort this out.
I contacted them via email and 2 other social media platforms and still waiting for this to be sorted. During this period I?ve laughably been sent emails asking for my views on their service so I reviewed this on their website and this was rejected (probably because it was negative and they like to pick and choose what gets published). As I type (8 DAYS LATER) I?m none the wiser and still haven?t been given my refund for the items I?ve never had!
Their internal communication and customer service is third rate. They respond to online reviews making meaningless promises but don?t actually do anything!

Have used Toolstation Camberley to good effect for years without issue until I purchased two off Kudox bathroom towel rails in chrome for a two storey side extension we were having built.....(£87k project). I bought & picked up the radiators & stored them in the garage awaiting installation by the builders. When they were about to be fitted some 31 days later it was found that one of the radiators had been supplied incorrectly in white.... :-( & worse still the packaging was at the bottom of the skip...... My wife would not accept a white towel rail & so I tried to return it as it was not what I had ordered i.e. under the statutary right to reject under the 2015 Consumer Rights Act I have 6 months to return for an exchange (in chrome) or my money back... 3 trips to the local Toolstation store who advised that there was no shortages on white towel rail rads at the store & suggested I was pulling a fast one... That is returning goods not purchased at the store etc. Tried online chat & they advised that their returns policy did not alllow for any returns after 30 days I then phoned the complaints line & they advised the same. In summary they have refused me to exercise my statutary rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as they do not allow returns after 30 days. Critically this is not an isolated incident it is a systemic issue which Trading Standards need to look into :-( You have been warned!

This is by far my go to tooling/materials store. Forget Screwfix!!!
I have been working on house projects for years. Living close to this store has been a godsend. The team here are fantastic;always willing to help and are on the ball. One that stands out is a guy called Dan. He consistently demonstrates excellent customer service. His positive attitude and willingness to help you goes hell of a long way. He knows what you need and where to find it. Other stores could learn from his great work ethic. Overall, well done to the whole team. This is a great place to shop, always open when I need it, always holds the parts I need and a great price. Awesome staff. Well maintained store. What more could you want!!!

Dan in the store immediately told me to go to selco when I asked about window hinges....2 builders were there who were really helpful..... then when asked about the hinges the builders helped me find in the catalogue...Dan said they won't have them in stock... without even checking.
He was extremely rude and aggressive for some reason I can only think of being racism
Not my regular store. Formal complaint sent to head office who need to see the video footage on my visit there.

I got served by a till operator called Daniel m. What a guy total legend couldn't do enough to help. Best service I've had in Toolstation in about 10 years

Came in sunday, got helped by one of the staff called Dan and he really helped me out, I felt a bit like a fish out of water but he really saved me time and money. He is very knowledgeable and he gave me brilliant customer service. I will certainly be coming back here again and looking for him to help me when I next pop in.

Rude unhelpful staff, went to tool station this morning in Camberley and I was treated really badly, so ended up walking out, my advice keep away and go to plumb centre you get a better service.

App was a little slow to get the order through, but other than that it's great prices and great stock! I prefer these guys to Screwfix nowadays
