Rooms: Rooms were nice but can definitely hear through the walls, even hear the tv on in the next room

Great beauty treatments but in the 3 hours I was there, at least 5 people commented on how dangerous the slip-pers were..! I slipped once then threw them away! The facilities are grubby, unclean and in desperate need of an update
Safety: Slippery
Noteworthy details: Needs an update AND DONT WEAR THE SLIPPERS

Had a pleasant overnight spa break. It was fine, though glad we didn't book 2 nights due to limited spa facilities. However, be aware children use the pool between 4 - 6pm. This is mentioned in their opening hours now I've re looked at the website but isn't exactly highlighted when booking. We couldn't use the pool really as it was full of kids dive bombing and wasn't relaxing which somewhat ruined our spa time as you check in at 3pm. Staff are all very friendly ,the treatments were pleasant and food was pretty good.

Not what we were expecting!
Our train journey was difficult due to rail replacements, so I would recommend driving. The reception staff were helpful upon arrival. The rooms, though cosy, are dated. They offer a TV with an HDMI cable for streaming.
The spa was the most disappointing aspect. The advertised 'luxury spa' was misleading; there's no jacuzzi, and the pool resembled a busy leisure centre, making relaxation difficult. The lack of secure storage for belongings and an inefficient towel system were also concerns.
The relaxation room was pleasant, with a blueberry drink, but lacked tea and coffee facilities. Our therapists were late and had to be prompted. One therapist was particularly unprofessional, rudely correcting another client's answer. A dried stain on my blanket was met with a dismissive response from staff, who then laughed about my complaint. While my treatment was adequate, the therapist's cold hands and head scratching were unpleasant.
The food, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent, and the waiting staff were friendly and informative.
Overall, this is not a recommended spa weekend. It doesn't live up to its 'luxury' claim and offers poor value for money."

Myself and my partner stayed here for a Murder mystery spa weekend. Overall a good experience, room was clean and of a good size, staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was lovely that we had as part of our event, including a buffet breakfast.
Car park was full, and had to park in the housing estate which isn't ideal and wasnt informed that the car park is fairly small.
Spa was okay, not the best one I have been too but not awful, however the steam room was pointless, literally hardly any steam and felt like I was sat in a normal room.
Overall a good stay, and would go again for the hotel.

Rooms: The room I had (deluxe double) was warm, comfortable and had everything I needed. The window fixtures need some attention, as they weren?t secure.
The bathroom worked as a bathroom should even if it was in need of a little decoration ?it looked ?tired?.
I was surprised it was called ?Deluxe? due to the details mentioned, but I was happy there for my two nights. It was quiet and gave me the rest I needed.

The bed was not as comfortable as hoped and pillows were terrible. The fire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning and ruined our sleep which was already pretty bad. Didn?t get any good rest.

An extremely bad run hotel. We checked in on Sunday asked for Sunday lunch we were told rudely by an obnoxious manager that we couldn?t have lunch because the chef hasn?t had 24 hours notice.
We then went to the spa area asked for bath robes and told her we will not allowed them. The breakfast was below average overcooked generally the staff were rude and the hotel is extremely disappointing.

I was given a spa experience and booked and went, and there were no staff to give the treatments for myself and my partner, have tried to contact several times by email to find out when is a good time for them to get our treatments, no response so now the bad review.

our stay was nice, calm, enjoyable and staff was friendly. i had a massage done by Alice which absolutely amazing and so relaxing. she was lovely and her hands magical.
the breakfast was nice although if it hadn?t been included in the price of the night £18 would have been excessive.
the pool and spa facilities left much to be desired as the steam room wasn?t working during our stay.
we also found it weird that no robes were provided in the rooms.
overall a good stay.

Booked hotel for wifes birthday. Room was set up with balloons and banners which was a very nice personal touch. Breakfast very basic and rooms in need of a massive renovation. Yes the period features of the hotel are very nice but ripped curtains, creaky floors, tired carpet and bathrooms do need looking at. Massage we had was good.

really nice hotel with attentive friendly staff . The room was nice but could definitely do with a slight improvement as was a bit tired looking , however still good value for money . The restaurant was great . Spa facilities great and kept very clean . Only complaint was some spa staff were slightly moody . Great stay otherwise !

Lovely hotel and the staff are great! Although family time in the pool was 3pm-6pm, which didn't make for a relaxing experience at all! Unsure why they would have it this time when guests are using the spa area, no space in the sauna or steam room and kids running around, so ruined the whole spa exsperience for us

Be aware of very poor customer services. We only booked for a Valentine's night meal and spa. The meal was excellent, the spa was very busy with limited facilities (robes even lacking belts). After leaving the dining area about 7.30pm and preparing to go to sleep we were hounded by repeated knocks on our room door as if the police were searching for a lost person at 10.30pm, asking us to pay for our meal immediately. We booked the meal with the room itself and would expect it to be charged to the room and paid on check out, having given our room number at the restaurant. Staff refused this and we had to get out of bed to make payment. Extremely odd behaviour and not anything I've encountered before in hotel stays. This spoiled the one night away in ten years.

Really disappointed with the customer service and compassion we received. Shocked by the lack of care from the staff we dealt with. Completely ruined our weekend.
We had driven an hour and a half to be told that there had been a mistake and Macdonalds had reserved a room for May. This is despite us receiving confirmation that our reservation was for the 15th of Feb. We also had treatments which we?d been in contact with the hotel in order to book.
We were given no apology whatsoever. Instead excuses and the implication that we just have to accept a downgrade to a twin room.
It took the staff 45 mins to contact a manager. 15 minuets later a double room magically became available. Unfortunately at this point we had missed our treatments and were very frustrated, not at all what we wanted from a relaxing weekend! We were offered no compensation for the mess up with our room or missed treatments.
Around an hour after we were supposed to check in, whilst by partner was on the phone to Mac Donald?s head office, the lady on reception tried to trick me into signing the checking in form. I had to ask her multiple times what she was asking me to sign. I found this extremely sneaky, she was expecting me to check in as though the last hour had not happened, as though we had not missed the expensive treatments, as though everything had gone smoothly. This is immoral and unacceptable.
This did not happen because we made a mistake with our booking. It could have happened to any couple that day. However we were unlucky. To receive very little compassion from the staff at Frimley Hall was a complete shock. I have never had customer service quite so poor. If a mistake is made you go out of your way to rectify it and ensure the customer feels valued and respected.
We won?t be going to any Macdonalds spas in the future. And will be clear with friends and family how poorly Macdonalds staff handled the situation.
