Have used Higher Ground for carpets in our last two homes and been extremely satisfied. A very well stocked showroom with various prices that will suit everyone. Staff and management always on hand to help and give advice. Had all our carpets and stair runner laid by very professional fitters. Would not hesitate to use again and to recommend!

First class service! Gerard was highly efficient in both the initial consultation and the planning of the project. The estimate, fitting information and invoices were very clear and he was able to source the perfect materials and provide a range of samples to enable us to achieve the look we wanted. Perhaps best of all he found a highly-skilled fitter to lay the difficult sisal we chose and the end-result is superb. Would definitely recommend for any carpet/flooring/sisal needs. ???

Can't recommend this company enough. Brilliant team - Gerard and his show room staff were so helpful in helping me find the right carpet for my home. The install team were fantastic and worked around our renovation schedule which wasn't straight forward but it didn't phase them! They were so quick and efficient, I love the result and still get that comforting feeling when I step on the fresh carpet with bare feet 6 months later! First class product and first class team! Thank you.

We initially become aware of Higher Ground as a referral and have been really impressed with the range, professionalism and service when choosing our carpets, all the way from ordering to delivery and installation.The showroom is well worth a visit if you're local, with a huge range on display providing much needed inspiration.The fitters were great and overcome an issue with a slight challenge we had with differing floor heights, and were able to adjust a door allowing for the carpet and threshold to be fitted correctly.We have had two bedroom carpets from Higher Ground and will definitely be returning to them, once we are ready with our next project.. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Higherground have been fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were quick to come out to see my house and look at the work that was required. I felt the price quoted was fair and competitive. Adam, who was on site each day carrying out the work was punctual, polite and was very efficient in carrying out the work. I am so pleased with the final result, our floors look magnificent!!

If I could give this company zero stars I would.I paid almost £10k for Amtico LVT flooring to be laid throughout my ground floor. They had a great showroom and the staff were so helpful but that's where the positives ended. I won't go into the details as it would make this review too long but I was left with a floor that had lumps and dips all over it, the LVT tiles had gaps between them and could literally be picked up like giant puzzle pieces. The owner of this company would accept no fault with the fitting even after I had two Contact Flooring Association inspectors tell me that none of the issues were acceptable.In the end, after a long and very stressful fight, I managed to get a full refund from Higherground and had them remove the flooring. I had another local company come and do the proper preparation and use the right techniques to lay the same make flooring again and now I have a perfect floor.I don't take the writing of a negative review lightly as I know the damage they can do and I wouldn't have written it if I was satisfied with the management of this unfortunate situation. Mistakes happen but it's how they're resolved. The owner of this company made me fight tooth and nail to get this outcome, all whilst holding up the rest of my building project as the kitchen couldn't be fitted until the flooring was completed, a real pain especially with a 1 year old baby. To this day I haven't had an apology or any admittance of any failure and that's why I'm leaving this review. All I wanted was a "sorry" rather than arrogance and being told they've been in business X years and never had a problem.In retrospect, looking at the reviews on Google I see that most are for rugs and carpets and not LVT flooring which explains a lot as the fitter they used for my project didn't know what he was doing and didn't even follow the instructions on the adhesives packet.

Great company with great service and extremely competitive prices.Ordered a rug that was a slightly different shade than I was expecting.Higherground changed the rug, collected the previous one at no charge and offered to refund my money immediately if I wasn?t satisfied with the replacement.Unlike most online businesses they were available by phone every time I called.Can?t recommend highly enough.

Gerard, Tim and the team were fantastic with the supply and fit of LVT flooring for a kitchen and a living room carpet. The showroom is great with a huge selection of carpets and flooring.We walked in not quite sure what we wanted and with Gerard's advice we left an hour later with options and samples. Order placed a few days later and able to fit in early December despite their a busy Christmas schedule.Very good service, they made everything very easy. Highly recommend Higher Ground.
