Visited with my daughter to cuddle the baby meerkats & we thoroughly enjoyed it! Chris was so knowledgeable & taught us lots about the meerkats, his passion for them really shone through. All staff were so friendly & welcoming, especially Claire the cook, who was amazing with my autistic daughter. We sat outside and watched the adult meerkats, had a drink and the best cheesy chips I?ve ever had!! My daughter also loved her cucumber - thank you for accommodating her needs! We will definitely return soon to see how the babies have grown up. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience :-)

We visited on Saturday for the first time after a friends recommendation! We had a delicious breakfast that was great value and was served by friendly staff! To top it off we met the beautiful meerkats in the garden and had a little play time with the babies! We will definitely be returning!

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, it was relatively quiet in the pub. I ordered the beef burger, it was overcooked and tasteless. My son also had the beef burger from the kids menu, which was also overcooked and the bun was stale. We ordered a garlic bread as a starter, but it came out with the mains and was the last thing to be put on the table, the garlic bread had no taste and was soggy like it had been put in the microwave, almost as if they had forgotten to give it us so quickly heated it back up. The female toilets were generally dirty with horrible red stains on the toilet seat, extremely off putting when having food. I had to use the disabled toilet to change my toddlers nappy, where there was no sanitary bin and again, generally dirty with no toilet roll on the holder, but a completely soaked roll on the sink basin. A very disappointing lunch.

Good for a pint out the front overlooking the village green, but not much else. Strong sewer smell coming from the toilet area.

The Meat Trio was Fantastic! Everything was cooked to perfection and served in great proportions. Quirky corner plot on the side of The Green in a serene village.
Excellent value for money and refreshing to see a place that doesn't add a service charge - although it would have been well deserved!

Best pub for Sunday lunch. Fabulous yummy vegan choice. Generous portions and a great atmosphere. Staff always provide a top notch service. Great value for superb food.

We were a walk in and got a table straight away at lunchtime on bank holiday, fortunately they had a no show. Menu offers traditional pub foods. Dog friendly and gave water bowl and biscuits which was so lovely! We were relatively happy with our food - the vegetables could have been fresher and my partners portion size slightly bigger.

We recently held our Golden Wedding celebrations at the Grumpy Mole in Brockham. It was a wonderful day for all of us, with very good food, friendly atmosphere and very good service from the helpful staff, especially as it was a busy day. A separate table was provided for us to display photos and for our cake, and coffee and tea and chocolates after the meal. We can certainly recommend the Grumpy Mole for celebrations of this kind. It is great if there are children involved as the village Green is opposite and so they were able to go and kick a ball around there.

Stopped by for a drink and had a ploughman's lunch. Good range of beers with two local real ales which is nice to see. The ploughman's lunch was good although a small portion of bread with the platter. Lovely aspect looking onto the Green and very busy for a Monday lunchtime, so probably a good idea to book if you really want a table at lunchtime.

Decent Sunday lunch spot - a couple of issues today (maybe because they were so busy) but great service as always and they waived a round of drinks for us - but generally the go to place for decent Sunday lunch fayre.
