Great store, good service. A little more expensive compared to some others but good selection and quality

Great products. A lot of things can't get elsewhere. Proper Greek yoghurt. Organic products that are hard to get elsewhere. Great selection of fruit and veg. Very fresh, unlike some other places. All in all, great products. You will pay a little extra. However, it is definitely worth it. Toilets are a shame. Really don't match the building, which is clean and tidy. Can't say the same for the toilets. Parking is not always easy. It gets very busy and full.

My favourite Waitrose to shop. A lot more options than Coulsdon one.

Whether you need help finding a specific item or seeking recommendations, the knowledgeable staff is readily available, ensuring that your shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable. The dedication to providing personalized service sets Waitrose apart from other supermarkets.

Free coffee, free parking. What's not to like?!The fruit, veg and meat is good quality and very tasty. A small yet delightful fresh bakery section. A large selection of prepackaged bread. Lottery and tobacco counter (limited vape products). Fresh flowers and plants. Meat free range has increased. The gluten free section is growing, but not huge. With excellent service and outstanding produce, no, it's not the same price profile as Aldi or Lidl.Sad to read the negative reviews of this shop with comments about suspected racial profiling around the hand scanners and complaints about the parking when so much is right about this store:Staff are extremely caring, helpful and considerate. There are a handful of polyglots and bi-lingual staff. Although perhaps not a full on conversation, it's not unusual to hear greetings or gratitude in; French, German, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Romanian, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Korean, Polish, Chinese, Turkish, Japanese, Greek, Ukranian, Swedish, Portuguese.....Being on the end of a re-scan can be a pain, but this is not staff instigated; more of a random computerised check.Parking times are on show and if you're unsure, just enquire with any of the staff.Have happily enjoyed regular shopping here for years.I wrote this review as a shopper, but as these are my findings, I successfully applied for a job here.As a long standing happy customer and as a happy member of the team, I'd like to say: THANK YOU WAITROSE.

We moved to Banstead 5 years ago and have been shopping at Waitrose regularly since. All of the staff have always been very helpful, friendly and professional but I?m compelled to applaud a particular member of staff who always goes above and beyond. I have witnessed her consistent professionalism and friendliness with every single customer she speaks to regardless of how she is approached. She is an absolute credit to Waitrose, Banstead and I feel should be acknowledged. I noted her name badge and very much hope I am correct in saying her name is Lorena - thank you for making Waitrose a lovely place to visit, I look forward to seeing you when I come.

Waitrose Banstead has both its pros and cons. On one hand, the store has a great stock of high-quality groceries and fresh produce. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is always clean and well-organized. I also appreciate the store's efforts to reduce waste and promote sustainability, with a focus on recycling and reducing plastic waste. On the other hand, I do find that some prices at Waitrose can be higher than at other supermarkets, which can be frustrating when trying to stick to a budget. Additionally, I've found that the store's random checks for scanning items during checkout can be inconvenient and time-consuming, especially when there are long lines.

My local shop - can be really hit and miss with stock at times but staff are pleasant and great location for Banstead residents with good variety of produce. I prefer M&S for their basics though if you're looking for quality at a good price.

Have to thank the gentleman on the fish counter today as he was so patient with my Mother. He couldn't have been more accommodating. He was very gentle with her as she is easily confused. He treated her with respect and I wanted to let him know how grateful I am.

As per the instructions on the sign at Click & Collect parking bay, I stayed in the car and called the phone number accordingly, but no one picked up the call. I kept calling again and again, ringing at least 5 minutes EACH call, but still no one picked up. I have no choice but to wake my toddler up and go into the shop's Customer Service. I explained what had happened, still, the staff even said I was late... But in fact, I arrived on time, only because I wasted over 20mins calling their phone number which no one answered. I have much better experience using Click & Collect with other supermarkets, so NO next time Banstead Waitrose.

Always a pleasure to shop here - fully stocked shelves and good quality produce. Especially love the spice and herb selection, often many things I've not heard of to add to my collection.Plenty of parking too.
