A few weeks back my grandchildren brought me to this restaurant and I must say I was very impressed by the decor and the food however I was fairly confused when a young lady tried to serve me in a pair of slippers and no uniform. I must say I was not impressed with her lack of knowledge of the menu either, but to leave it on a good note the food was splendid.

We waited 10 minutes to be seated at a table and then waited 15 minutes for someone to come to us and then another 20 minutes even though they said they would come in 5 minutes. The Caesar salad consists of cabbage and chicken, that's all, and the tiramisu is very oily and not tasty, and the cocktails are bitter and not tasty. I don't know why they give it more than 1 star, because there is no good service, no good cuisine, no good cocktails. Can you give 0 stars here?

Five of us had a lovely evening at Banstead branch. Service and food were good. Time to pay the bill and 3 of us were told we could not pay with cash. Absolutely disgusted. It?s legal tender. Imagine being told you can?t pay with card there would be uproar. Well Prezzo if you don?t want my cash I?ll go somewhere that does. You?ve lost 5 customers.

If you like waiting an extremely long time for quite average food whilst little to no communication or courtesy from the staff this is the place. The only positive really was the great decor.

Look at the photo and try and guess what I had, could have been a boiled potato, quarter slightly cooked boiled cabbage, the toughest stringest chicken I?ve ever been served with, and a strange almost tasteless sauce, never had a worse meal in my life.

Believe it or not it was that classic Italian dish saltimbocca with just a hint of burnt sage.?

This is a nicely presented restaurant, food is ok, unfortunately however, the service is terrible .... we waited 10 mins to be seen or even acknowledged at front of house and seated despite a large que forming. After being seated it took ~25 mins to be seen for drinks order etc, (had to ask/beg for service), starter to main 50 mins!! remainder of the evening was a struggle to get any attention, staff simply are not interested ... in fact staff are too busy attending to the take-out (Uber Eats etc.) orders, packing Pizza box's, while in-house customers waited. Honestly PREZZO you have other local completion close-by that offer same food and far BETTER service .... after MANY loyal years of visiting PREZZO, we will now be going there in the future!!

My chicken caesar salad was superb and the fries are to die for! Great place to go eat if you have missed lunch and you don't want to wait until the evening! Had the Sicilian lemon meringue pie wow! Just great food!

Food was OK. Staff surly not at all friendly. Never asked whether I have any food allergies which I do. When I told a waiter this he shrugged and said that I should have been asked!

Main course disappointment and should have spoken up at the time?Impromptu Sunday date night with wife at Banstead Prezzo - a known quantity having eaten there many times in the past, but not recently.
Starters quickly served and as expected. My main classic pepperoni pizza looked ok, but after a few minutes in just hard, bland base and tasteless topping? I?ve had better frozen pizzas from Asda. Where was the fluffy, crispy outer crust, authentic flavoursome pizza oven base and mouth-watering ingredients? I only persevered as I was extra-hungry. Definitely not worth the price. Wife?s Carbonara was over-sticky and bland.
Was the end-of-day sitting a factor, or a general drop in standards at play? An underwhelming experience for our hard-earned money.
